8th pick

I hope Penn State makes the national title game because that gives Drew Allar till January 24 to declare if he wants to be drafted and if he goes on a run like that, I don’t see him sticking around with a stock being high and that puts 3 quarterbacks in the top 10 as opposed to just 2

Really interesting that we finish 3rd in division and draft in front of the saints. 4th in the division is a big advantage on the schedule next season.

I'd sit at 8. Draft day is weird. Never know who can fall to you. If T-Mac or Graham or Abdul gets to you, take em. If not, the best OL on the board will likely be available. Trade back in the 14-10 range and take luther burden or Ken Grant and get some more picks. Lord knows we can use em.

Were in a really good spot.

    • I know teams have been selling out to stop the run, but Ricos kind of fallen off a cliff.. not sure if hes hurt or just worn down but even when theres a hole he doesnt look anything like he did those few weeks prior.
    • nah, that's basically saying people can't call a spade a spade.  Which is crazy.  89 is not a good dude.  He might have done a couple good things but it will never erase what he has proven to be in front of the world.  I tell my kid all the time not to view celebrity athletes as anything but people that play a sport well.  Lot of garbage humans play on Sunday.   And you have no clue who the good guys actually are.  PR in today's world is also powerful.  There was a window when Deshawn Watson checked every good guy box that could ever existed from the public's perspective.
    • Some folks say it's because teams are playing more shell defenses preventing more longer passes.  The analytics folks would rather you pass for 7 years every down.  As you state, the crop of QBs is mixed as far as quality. I think when you put it all together, it's a recipe for less passing yards.
