Or is it that maybe you can always spin some sort of conspiracy angle and then eventually it will work out if you do it enough times?

The LA stuff is hilariously goofy. The Rams are not a favored team.

I'm partly joking. It is in bad taste though.

If my house burned down in LA, my house got flooded in NO or Asheville, or my family member/friend died in 9/11, the last thing I would give a poo about is a team of millionaires winning a football game. Let's be real here

Which is so insane in the first place.

The idea it would be rigged AGAINST the Cowboys and also that a NY tragedy would be "made whole" by a championship by a team they all hate so much. Lol

Don't we have a "Saints won because of Katrina" faction?

Gotta say the start of the game isn't necessarily feeding the Rams sympathy narrative.

He's a classic pocket passer with no major injuries i just don't see that being the case.

I don't think it's a matter of him getting older, it's a matter of him just not being an elite QB. Cousins never made that leap. Matt Ryan didn't either.

Didn't mean they weren't top 10 QB's for big parts of their careers but they just didn't have that next gear.

Eagles are very much like Detroit. Team is absolutely stacked and their weak link is their QB

A very lazy comparison.... the Detroit defense in its current state was as bad as ours.

The eagles had the #1 defense and #2 scoring defense.

I mean that's a given he's never going to be elite. I meant the guy isn't falling off a cliff at 30-31 that's something that happens to dual threats who take too many hits.... if im the Bills I'd be kinda worried soon

Allen doesn't take those kind of hits nearly as much anymore, though. He learned to avoid that more quickly than Cam did, unfortunately.

    • The league would protect him.  The amount of poo Jerry Jones has had exposed and got away with?  The amount of poo Stephen Ross has got away with?  How long Dan Snyder got away with essentially fuging sex trafficking employees and poo???????  Taking down JR was a hit job.  You think the other 31 owners, especially the older ones aren’t blathering, blatant, ignorant ass, bigoted rich racists who have committed far worse things than Blue Jean Fridays?  The ones I named above have DEFINITELY did worse than what JR was accused of.  And do you think guys like Steve Smith would’ve been viewing him as a father figure if they felt that’s who he was?  JR pissed the league off with that last lockout situation and they made him pay.  They lined a new guy up to join their billionaire boys club in Tepper, and they prolly slid a pretty penny to Jonathan Jones to write the “expose,” to get JR out of here.  Again, all the owners I’ve listed above have been verified on record for doing worse poo, yet they’re still running their organizations, unquestioned.  They hand-picked Tepper long before JR was forced out, so he isn’t going anywhere.  Sadly.  fug the NFL.  (Also, to be clear, it’s always fug racism, bigotry, and sexual exploitation - not ever excusing it.  Just making the point that the NFL isn’t operating under this clear standard of justice applied to each and every case)
    • I was still in the throes of a contentious divorce and my job at the time had me work on Sundays.  At the beginning of the season I tried to still work around Sundays so I could see our games.  I think after Bryce came back from the benching, I said fug it.  First time in my life I intentionally didn’t watch our games, even through the Atlanta finale.  In the past, even if we didn’t live up to expectations, I would watch to still support and at least analyze player development, strengths and weaknesses, coaching, etc., but Bryce makes all of that a moot point, so I stopped watching. Again, this is asinine,  it if he is retained (still can’t believe this is even a possibility of a conversation due to how shitty our organization has become under Tepper), I will NOT watch next season until he is gone.
    • Live look at Bryce playing ping pong.
