that's another big reason I do pull somewhat for the Chiefs come playoffs -- I live in Boston and have dealt with cocky ass pats fans for 2 decades; it's fun as hell pointing out all the ways the Mahomes/Reid/KC are better than them and brady belichick and seeing them squirm each year as the Chiefs come closer to passing them in the longevity stats too. would be fuging hilarious to see the chiefs threepeat which the pats never did and then later on get the undefeated season that eluded the pats too

damn, Chiefs D collapses in the 2min drill. their secondary outside of McDuffie is really pretty weak. that won't matter much though if bills D keeps playing the way they have

That has nothing to do with the technology in discussion

And if you watch the game much, that "magical clock" is not some antiquated thing that is arbitrary and/or even really affects the outcomes of games.  As stopping the clock for every stoppage of play isn't even close to possible in a game like that, and it's also not like the ref just randomly blows his whistle to stop the game whenever he feels like it.

Everyone is told how much time is still to play at the end of 90 minutes and even then, if there is an attacking play when it reaches that time, the game is allowed to continue until the threat is stopped.

Really not much "magical" about it
