NFL Playoffs

I’ve never bought into your argument that neither ref could see the ball. Moot point now, but there is no way the guy with a view of Allen’s back should have been the one to spot the ball in that instance, especially given the fact that the other ref had a different spot. They should have come together to discuss the difference.

We can't even see the ball here from a camera a good 10 feet in the air, do you really think a likely sub 6' tall person standing on the field is going to be able to see the ball over all those huge players surrounding him?

Refs placing the ball on any play has always been somewhat of a guessing game, it's never been exact.

The fact that it is THIS close of a play to where you can't even exactly tell on replay, shows how much more impossible it would have been for any ref to make that call in real time.  If you want to think this is the league making sure KC wins, so be it, but maybe Buffalo shouldn't have been so close, had they got literally another 6 inches further, it would have been clear he got the 1st.

Why do yall hate someone because they win ?

First it was Brady

Now it's Mahommes, and he hasn't even been accused of cheating

Would yall complain if we won the superbowl 3 years in a row ?

It is sports 101, bruh.

I am only hoping Mahomes does well BECAUSE I hate the Pats fans, the franchise and Brady. Otherwise, I wouldn't care at all.

I didn't watch either game today. I knew this snooze fest of a Super Bowl was a certainty. I hope there are about 100 million people living in KC and Philly to make up their viewership because I'm going to skip this SB and I know I'm not alone.

I honestly don't think watching this Super Bowl would be the most interesting thing to happen to me that day. I have a good BM in the morning and I don't think watching Kendrick and another KC title is even in the running for second.

IDK about winning more than 7 necessarily. Depends on the situations.

Long way from having that discussion yet.

honestly if the Chiefs win it this year and then both Reid and Mahomes decided to retire (they won't), I'd say they are the GOATs. Brady's longevity is crazy but he and Belichick never dominated the league quite like this.

Pretty wild to see folks dunking on Josh Allen when he threw a catchable ball past the sticks on an absolute jailbreak of a blitz where his OL looked like they'd been blindfolded and had their hands tied behind their backs.

Yeah, I'm not sure what else he was supposed to do on that play. He had like 5 guys in his face immediately seemingly untouched, nobody open down field and still managed to put it in a spot where his guy had a chance to make a play, even hit the receiver in the hands. Somehow he needs to do even more than that?

This

I spent way too many years hating guys like Brady and Lebron just because they won a lot.  I'd rather be able to enjoy knowing I'm watching a true generational talent in their prime than just hate watch them and be angry.

Sure I hate that Brady beat us in the SB, but that was a long time ago and after everything else he was able to accomplish after that game, I came around on him too.

It's why I'm rooting for and following Wemby's career right now, it's why I want to see KC 3-peat.  I'm getting too old to hate all time greats because they win and did nothing else to make me hate them, I'd rather just enjoy watching the greatness.

    • Well bois, we gave the Devils their due! Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery... The jersey boys have been trying to jack our steeze for a few years now. They've followed our blueprints and studied our tape. Every offseason, they pounce on our sloppy seconds in a Newark minute. Quick with the puck, ferocious on the forecheck and stifling team defense. Down to the colors, this is this closest we'll come to having to play ourselves in Ole Stanley's Hockey Hoedown. As the postseason began, Rod stood flexing in the gym mirror and saw this guy staring back from the void... (Shutters) When beating us at our game didn't work, Timo and the Tri-State Trash tried to tango instead. Outside of a bitchass cheapshot on Freddie, that poo didn't work either. Their goon squad was getting wrecked by our bantam weights. As much as we all wanted to see Svechy or Staal Bunyan literally break someone in half after the Great Dane went down, they didnt need to. Our munchkins were monsters! Jarvis obliterating giants at the blue line, Logan laying the Stank on dudes twice his size and Blakers blasting Timo into next season. It was beautiful to see! (Side note: Does JBlo wear lead weights under his pads? 170lbs shouldn't be able to hit that hard!) We closed it out in 5, for the gentleman's sweep. Only team in the league to win a series in each of the past 7(?) seasons! And, this was supposed to be a rebuilding year... Onto the awards: Key To The Series : 6 for 19 - .316% IT FINALLY WORKED!!! MVP : 16/180 g/s - .911 save% - 2.53 gaa Seriously, without this dude, we would've won in 3! (Trust me bro) 3rd Star : 6/94 g/s - .936 save % - 1.59 gaa The Great Dane   2nd Star : 3 g - 5 a - +1 - 20:38 toi/g - 18 hits - 3 bs - 58.1% fo 3 PP goals and the 2OT series winning goal! WOOAAAHHH NELLY!!!!   And, your 1st Star of the series : 5 g - 1 a - +3 - 16:48 toi/g - 16 hits - 1 bs - 1 tk - 50% fo Zero, I repeat, zero penalty minutes for the series! MISSSTAAAHHH SVEEECHNIKOOOV!!!!!! Onto The Next: Now, we wait for the Habs to make it a nasty 7 game slog, while we recuperate. And, hopefully, get Nikishin, and some of the other black aces some real peactice time. We are gonna need those guys at some point. Because, if you think the Devils were dirty, hoooo boy, wait till you see what's next...
    • I don’t watch college football anymore (used to be Stanford STH but meh), but my wife is Hawaiian and her favorite color is purple, so I guess I knew Tet was my new favorite player to root for when he came out in a purple suit and lei and threw up the Shaka.
    • AJ Green is who I think of as well; the body control, fluidity of movement, hands catcher, always high pointing the ball with the occasional insane/acrobatic type of grab, etc
