I think we should trade Ball when we can.  Dude is going to remember things like this and I blame being on this team for the snub.

Yeah I could see that.  He doesn't seem to take accountability.  He could certainly blame the hornets for all his injuries.  I think the team has injury issues because the best player is soft so the rest of the team follows suit

We do not need to have a pity party for LaMelo because he plays for the Hornets. Yes clearly the NBA does not give a single fug about this franchise and the league office at this point surely despises us. But LaMelo is paid an assload of money and his immaturity in different ways has been a key source of problems for our team regardless of how talented he may be. We've discarded a slew of players including jokers like James Bouknight who LaMelo was seen hamming it up with on the sideline in the midst of a blowout loss. We've retained inconsistent Miles Bridges despite all his off the court issues because LaMelo is very close to him. At some point regardless of everything else going on around the team something has to give with Ball and he has to find his way to the basketball court consistently and that's just the starting point that's not even mentioning his defense. The clock is running out on the viability of if he is truly a centerpiece worth continuing to build around.

Spoiled entitled team jumpers with  a net worth of roughly 300 million dollars like Kevin Durant going on social media to complain about the fans that pay their salary is a pitiful look for a league that has already been struggling with viewership. Let these assholes go work a regular job like the majority of the rest of the population.

Lamelo has played 69 games (with what, 7 to go?) over the past 2 seasons.  let's say he is averaging 38 per season, if he plays the rest.   He is paid an average minimum of $40.7m per season.

MATH:  He makes over $1m per game.

I don't post here, but if you pay part time players the league max, you are not going to win.

And No, Lamelo does not deserve all star status.  He is talented, but I do not see him playing within a system or adhering to a concept.

    • What?!?!?! Chark's 1,000 yard season was 4 years before he played for us and he only had 525 yards in 15 games as our #1 WR.  Dude has 3,100 yards in 7 seasons, he's the literal definition of a JAG and you think he is better than half our current WR room? T-Mac is literally already better than Chark was at his peak, which again, was years before he ever even put on a Panthers uniform, and there is a real argument to be made that XL and Coker were both better as rookies than Chark was for us in his one season here.
    • Im glad we're starting low. It's nonsensical to put us at 28 IMHO based on objective things IMHO (I think 21-24) is far more appropriate but whatever. Washington was at the bottom last year FWIW.  In 2003, Sports Illustrated said our best chance to win the division was to transfer to the ACC. In 2015, everyone wrote us off as a team that snuck into the playoffs with a losing record in 2014 and lost our best WR in TC (Kelvin Benjamin). All these videos are fodder for conversation, but this prediction has no more validity than saying the Panthers are making the SB bc we're starting the season against the Jaguars again. If Bryce plays like he did down the stretch we will end up the season just fine. This roster is much better than it has been the last 2 seasons. No one knows who any season will ultimately end up, but this team is finally being built in the right way, and the idea that this roster can't compete this year is as insane as being it was when we were gaslit in 2023 that we were a rookie QB from winning the division with that roster.
