for real, we arent winning poo this year, just hope bryce keeps getting better in 2025 and then strike next off season, I would like to know what its like to not be redlining the cap year after year

They have been operating with 50 million in dead cap EACH year for the last five years, that's HAS to be a NFL record. It's the dumbass award also, given the lack of talent.

I've said it before the perfect time to correct the cap was that coofus 2020 year without fans in stands. Nope- sign Teddy2gloves for 30million, Weatherly, Anderson and start a new dead cap pile on a weak talented roster that's lucky to win 5 games. Just soooo bad, its no wonder why the Panthers are the way they are.

No talent and no cap space is NOT a winning strategy, why did the Panthers need to prove this??

yep, I will have much respect and belief in Morgan if he just does minor poo and let moton ride and then do a total reevaluation after next season, this constant belief that we are "close" is fuging moronic at best

Because Bryce likes having Dalton around. Seems to be a good mentor to him. Plus, why replace a mediocre backup QB with another mediocre QB? If BY goes down we’re screwed regardless of who our backup is

Andy will be fine for a few games. By game 3 or 4 last year he looked exhausted. Did fine against the Raiders and Bengals though. If this is a 4-6 week issue need to have somebody on deck that isn’t Hooker.

Exhausted?

Did you see the 33 yard throw to Legette? Dude has zero juice left in his arm.

Maybe I should go back and cherry pick past posts from you.. For example, when you were claiming Jalon Walker should be the pick and how he could rival Abdul Carter as the first defensive player off the board.. Give me a break.. This was always Bryce Young’s year to see if he is the guy or not. Andy Dalton went in and made 2 good throws vs the Jets to XL that Young most likely doesn’t make. What mystery backup QB would you rather have right now that wouldn’t have required sending future draft picks for?

you got to love the logic of  the old " there's no hope for an upgrade of the position so lets not even try."  Yeah ride or die with tiny tim or bust.  that makes complete sense.

    • Rotating in Chuba was beyond stupid and really hurt our offense overall. We’ve been in a good rhythm the last 6 quarters or so but Canales figured disrupting that with Chuba would be worth it Rico fits this offense so much better than Chuba    As far as grades go I know that ain’t our RB1, starting Center and our supposedly deep WR room and exciting talented young TE in dead last. Weird. I wonder if that has any correlation on QB play  Even that first incomplete ball Bryce threw in the end zone that hit Legette’s hands. Legette had no business being there so early. Legette went into scramble drill when that ball was intended for Coker who led up because of the traffic there
    • Yeah Jets have pretty much been in every game they've played and have barely lost to really good teams. They are much better than their record says Imo
    • I kinda just wanna see what the offense can do with a QB who has proven he can move the football in the NFL. If Dalton wasn't a shadow of his former self I'd be fine with him but Father Time has definitely caught up with him. If we start piling up the losses as the schedule gets tougher and the passing offense continues to be anemic that might cast Canales his job and it's worth a very low risk move IMO to at least give him a fighting chance. The thought of yet another Tepper rebuild just isn't at all exciting to me having already seen a few of them. I'm about giving this current guy a fighting chance.
