Hell to the naw, but blowing a high pick by drafting a for need position… and we choose a guy with a major lower extremity injury in a position where speed is everything. 

How did he break it in the first place? Chance of re-fracture? Surgery, eventually?

Hes talented yes but so is brooks. Hes also recovering from a shoulder injury that limited him in the bowl game. Things don't get lighter or easier in the NFL. After being burned last year they have to be more cautious drafting injured players

      Could do better could do worse. I've seen some people very indignant over bringing him back and I can absolutely relate to the sentiment. But it's just in a backup role. He's also a good locker room presence and an effort player so for a 1 year rental in a year where we aren't going to do much it's fine. This is a development year. And there will be options if need be at the trade deadline. Besides at the end of the day we all knew a signing like this was around the corner after how drafting Mark Williams ended. He should have been our franchise center for the next several years. I don’t put that failure on the Hornets.

      No one is upset.  And what I referred has been happening.   Patrick Mahomes has an offseason basketball clause in his contract.  A ton of other physical activites like jet skiing, baseball and all sorts of physical activities are written into his contract.  XL likely already has ATVs and stuff written into his contact.  League already has been inserting a lot of that stuff into basic contracts for non-top tier players and we have seen it pan out.
