Anyone else worried for Beason...

Didn't look too hot at OLB, and it is somewhat now easier to direct a play completely away from him. I know it's just one preseason game but Beason usually knows what he is doing and what is going on.

I am sure if Beason tries hard he can master it but why? I'm hearing OLB means more in meeks system, but that's not the reason Beason moved, it's because of a Davis' injury...so why?

Why did we have to move him? I want to state I am fully against this notion and I want him to stay MLB no matter what. Maybe I'm just paranoid but the Panther's don't really have a all star defense and to lose the effectiveness of Beason, the only 'all star' on defense, where we know it will come through seems silly.

When you think about it, it's a sure sign that TD's days as a Panther are over. They wouldn't transition Beason over to his position screwing everything up in the process if they thought they were going to have Davis back next season where they would have to move Beason back to MLB.

I do find it odd he looked so lost when everyone and there momma had been saying he was destroying the offense all camp at the spot.

I think he only looked lost on one play, maybe two tops. Everyone is overreacting I think. There was one play in particular where he was held for like three seconds, and STILL ran five yards up the field to make the tackle. He is just as nuts as he has always been, it doesn't matter if he stands three yards to the left/right/whatever of where he did last year.

You'll see a lot of moves at LB during the preseason... Fox already has stated that multiple times. Beason just got used to playing MLB. He'll pick it up if he's left there.

it was his first game at that position since his rookie year, and he didn't even play very long. give him time.

However, if you listened to his sideline interview during the game it is very obvious he is not onboard with the move and would rather be back in the middle.

Hopefully, Hardy has another good outing and gets to play with the 1st/2nd string. Let Beast go back to MLB and Hardy play outside, and Connor can be backup.

I'm not, he played WLB in college and his rookie season, he'll get his bearings.

Pre-season or not Beason is a Pro-Bowler at MLB and is one of our strengths. You shouldn't mess with a positive and turn it into a question mark. Have the other LBs that haven't proven themselves yet learn the position.

Abh and I brain trust eachother and agree that he has played this spot before, but that was a whole different venue. It made no sense to me, to take a guy, who owned the position, and relocate him. WE did not get max effect when we did that to our Oline, we managed...I want to dominate. Beason admitted it took a lot of eye movement and guessing, having to watch middle and side movement.

Davis is watching his career go down the tubes I am afraid. Sad.
