Dwayne Jarrett talks about his struggles.

When asked if he wants to go to another team, Jarrett said: “That would not be fair to say because I’m still here. I’m not going to put myself out there and say, ‘Yes, I want to be traded,’ but like I said, ‘it is frustrating.’ That is as much I can say right now, so I’m just trying to work everyday I’m out there just to show them and prove to them that I’m a player and I can play.”

Too bad he just can't seem to get it.

He looks like he moves at 1/10th the speed of everyone else on the field, his shoulders are slumped, his head hangs down, and he just jogs around. I agree, he's got great hands, but I think he lacks too many other important qualities. I think he was doomed the moment Smitty called him out in the locker room a few years back for needing to study the playbook and not talk to reporters.

Smitty was just being a dick. Nothing more. Smitty issue was Jarrett was talking to the press. There was nothing to talk about. Jarrett just happened to be the guy Smith took his frustration out on. If people were able to catch everything he said to his teammates you would think everyone was awful.

Yea now its Smiths fault not Jarrett's... Give me a break. This guy has been given all the time in the world to produce and has done nothing but act immature and has not taken his job serious. Now he is being replaced and HE is frustrated... I mean really.

"The Daily Dwayne Jarrett Thread" ... man this guy is starting to rule the discussions on the Huddle. I've actually memorized all his stats, which wasn't very hard, seeing he doesn't have many.

BTW, I know he is 6-4, but he only weighs 219 lbs? How can he be so damn slow, he ran a 4.62 and 4.67, but the scouting report was he plays faster on game day....HAHAHA LOL! BTW, Clausen ran a 4.74, so our QB could probably take him in a foot race, just not on game day.

    • Having trouble finding all these articles saying the Raiders withheld information. Here’s the latest from Crosby’s surgeon: ElAttrache told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Wednesday morning that Crosby was "doing very well in the early part of his rehab and recovery from surgery to treat a significant meniscus tear and the related stress injury to the bone and cartilage in his knee. He is certainly on track in his planned program." "We truly respect the work of the Ravens' staff with Maxx regarding the contract physical exam. We also understand the challenge the staff faces when tasked to provide a future risk assessment based on an evaluation early in the recovery process," ElAttrache said. "This is especially challenging when dealing with an elite player like Maxx considering the level of commitment necessary for a team to obtain him. The timing of this assessment is unfortunate because the apparent risk will lessen as his recovery progresses and his return to performance over the next few months becomes clear."     So the Ravens excuse is the future risk assessment based on the physical, not that the Raiders withheld information. They found an excuse to save face publicly. They had the right to cancel the trade for no reason at all, but they’re trying to save face with the most acceptable reasoning they can find. I’ve heard and seen the Ravens getting dragged everywhere for this. You know what would be an easy way to put a stop to that if you’re the Ravens and the Raiders were actually the shady ones withholding information? Just come out and say that you were not given all the medical information. But they aren’t saying that. I guess they’re just taking the bullet for the Raiders just because?    Speculation indeed.
    • Two first round picks for a guy with very questionable knees who will be 29 this summer. Yes it is safe to say the Ravens got cold feet.
    • The salary cap is the reason we got Phillips and Lloyd
