playing best this year is james anderson.

Smitty is overall our best player across his career, by far, but age is catching up with him a bit. he is still a great receiver and I'm not taking anything away from him with this.

Player I think is the best right now even if their play isn't showing it would be a tie between D-Will & Beason.

has KILLED our offense, so is he our best?

James Andersons is having a great year, but our defense is designed so that he will....

The coverage Steve Smith gets from defenses makes our offense better, but he's dropped catchable passes, and his yardage-after-catch pales compared to what it used to be when he was faster, and he isn't scoring.
