Oh, the previous year when he had 9 catches for 107 yards in the game, while catching (I believe, again, not trying to re-research it at this point) 3 of the 5 targets he had while Hunter was covering him, including a 1 on 1 red zone matchup where T-Mac created separation in a short space and made a nasty catch for the Touchdown, oh and not to mention also drawing a PI call on Hunter in coverage as well?

Most of those stats came against significantly weaker players, exactly like I said. Despite the fact that TH covered him more than anyone else, he had only 3 catches for 15 yards against TH. Yes, one of those catches was a TD, on a absolutely perfect pass in a super tiny window because TMac couldn't actually get separation.

I think we could still use speed from the slot, but with T-Mac, XL, and Coker already as part of our Top 4 with Thielen, I think we should look to bring in a Vet FA in that role than look for someone else in the draft there.

This is a top 10 pick, not some mid rounder. Dominate him, no, but he should be winning his fair share of those snaps. Being completely blanket covered anytime he's lined up against TH and producing 15 yards, for a #8 overall player? Yikes.

Yeah he's excellent at making contested catches, I'll give him that. Big, slow receiver that can't get open, but he can make contested catches if you're willing to throw it up into these small windows. Take that FWIW if you think it's worth the pick.

      Watching games this year again and Bryce missed a wide open XL many times and some of them were in the endzone. I get the kid has mental lapses and hasn't broke out yet, but this is year three on a rookie deal! Cutting bait now is too early. If he hasn't gained anymore trust from his QB, posted any highlights, little production, or outright gets beat out then we can talk movement.

      Samesies   I truly may just cash completely out of Panther football if we give him a long term deal that isnt necessary.  I have watched NFL for 50 years now and I can without a shadow of a doubt say you cannot win consistently with BY.  Way too many limitations to deal with.   I may come back around in 3 years when the inevitable happens and all parties are either cut and/or fired.  Giving him a deal before this season so you hopefully can get him cheaper in case he "blows up" or if you truly believe that he will has to be the most moronic decision a gm can make when the evidence is laid before you with different players

      This is the one! I was at that game and all KB had to do was lay down on the corner after the pick or make an obvious tag while he was down. He had already ran a lazy route. Then if Cam would've just walked to the sideline like most elite QBs instead of trying to make the tackle.  A lot of people bring up the TJ Watt hit, but he just reaggravated a bunch of scar tissue from that play. And every Cam hater said that the running did him in and it was a dive tackle attempt on an interception that initially began the shoulder deterioration. He still went to New England later and would've got them in the playoffs had their A team not sat out the covid year. We quit on him too early. But hey how good was Teddy? Am I right?
