So far there’s been three things that have stood out to me of why the hurricanes are playing well. Something that they have not got in any other rounds in previous years. They’ve been able to get that clutch goal scoring when they need it, goaltending, and the depth. All three are really pushing the canes.

He's been around a little longer, knows our system a little better than I think Niki (Nikishin) does and he played well when he came up [during the regular season]," said the Canes' coach. They are talking like it’s a forgone conclusion that the Canes lose the series in the pregame…. Talking like Florida is outta their league.

Why I don't watch national pre-game or intermission 

Most of those guys ranked us last in the playoffs anyway

Keep in mind they also said Washingon was out of our league, and would easily take care of us in 5, thier opinion isn't worth a damn thing

Soooo basically what they did against new jersey and Washington....

 

The droning heads are annoying mute it and put on 99.9 for tripp.

 

They are also acting like those 4 one goal victories (actually played 6 games of ice time with all the overtime)  agaist a depleted canes team two years ago matters.
