Just saw this...

I get that as an agent, it's his job to advocate for his client.

I question whether he really has a leg to stand on here, though 😕

He will have his redemption shot at some point this year, so long as he is not too tired. Jones has far too much of an injury history to not miss time.

Assuming he doesn't push for a trade. Though again, I doubt he has any real leverage.

I feel like Darnold is a guy that can have a partially good season, but never a complete one.

To his credit, he did at least improve the number of games he was capable of looking good for after he left us 😕

In fairness to us, Darnold had better players around him than he did here.

Wilson was traded from the Jets for a 6th round pick and the Broncos got him and a 7th in return I think. Or vice versa. I wouldn't expect it to be anything more than that, if even that much for trade terms.

That or Daniel Jones will remind everyone he is Daniel Jones the quarterback and at some point, you'll turn to anyone that's not Daniel Jones.

More speculative based on what happened up to this point, but I feel AR may still be struggling on how to be the type of guy that the locker room wants to follow. Otherwise, it's simply that his accuracy remains poor and it's not looking like a Josh Allen situation where he was the rare exception of fixing that aspect in the pro level.

Falcons OT Storm Norton underwent ankle surgery Tuesday and is now expected to miss 6-8 weeks, per source.

Then today offensive tackle Kaleb McGary and was carted off with a leg injury that necessitated an MRI.

And your young QB has a laundry list of major injuries during college football. Oh wee mayne...

Falcons RT MCGary carted off, don't know how bad it is yet, but bad enough for the cart being brought out.

Penix is left handed, so he just lost his blind side protector.  Falcons fans bemoaning their tackle depth (who doesn't).

fug em.

If I had to watch this team trot out David Foucault and Nate Chandler as the starting tackles in a nationally televised game I have no sympathy for any other team in the league.

They can figure it out.

Damn... Might just be due to it happening to Slater and now McGary but it feels like there was another player or two that just signed extensions and have already suffered significant injuries.

Happened last offseason too. It's just part of it.

Hell, we had CMC, Donte Jackson and D. Brown all basically have that happen after inking big deals.

    • Do you see the vision?  As of now our Carolina Panthers don’t have an identity. We are not an offensive powerhouse and on defense we only started getting it together towards the end of the year last year. In my opinion we are much closer to having an incredible defense that scares the daylights out of people. I say the answer is simple and we fully commit to that possible identity.    Emmanuel McNeil Warren (E man)  This guy is like a shark lurking around ready to attack anyone. Fearless. He is easily a top 20 talent in my eyes, and the only reason he isn’t more talked about is because he’s from Toledo. Do your due diligence as panther fans and watch his tape I beg you. Once you’re done watching let me ask you this, if you dropped E - Man into the strong safety spot on the Buckeyes, he isn’t being talked about as one of the best prospects we’ve seen in some time given the skill set you see with this guy? I think so. Put his name on the card and turn it in at 19.    Jacob Rodriguez  High effort, High energy, High IQ guy that flies around the field. We all know Jacob at this point. My only concern is he’s a little bit too good and I’m not sure he makes it to us at our pick in the second. With the additions of Jacob and E- Man I think our defense goes to top 5 in the league. We would have a duo of linebackers that rival anything we’ve had in our past. I’m not a GM so I don’t know what the possible answer could be, but if there’s a way we can comfortably trade up in the second to secure this guy I think we find a way to do it.    Spend the rest of our picks fixing the O - line.    Thoughts Panthers fans? Who’s the ideal duo for yall?
    • OL is arguably much more important to the success of a young QB. (Or any QB)
    • Didn’t get around to watching this one but looks like Pistons played their starters and actually tried…? Unlucky that they sit vs Magic, etc and try vs us. Hopefully we can beat the Heat and then Magic or 6ers with no Embiid. BUT if not, the NBA really should give us the lottery win this year like they did Mavs last year. Another high pick could be our final missing piece and have us as legit top contenders next year and going forward if we’re healthy. Or trade it for a Giannis type
