funny how short the practice threads are when the tweets about Bryce are positive compared to the ones where he has incompletions...

Be careful, haters don't like being reminded that they hate. 😛

We started out last season with two of the ugliest lopsided losses in franchise history after holding out our starters for most of preseason. And before that in camp our defense actually looked halfway formidable against our offense. That same defense ended up being one of the worst ever. Skepticism is justified until we see some good results early in the season whether folks like it or not. That comes with the territory of not having a winning season in going on 8 years now.

I like hearing it’s getting chippy. A lot of the same guys as last year on both sides. Means they’re getting to know each others strengths and weaknesses and get under each others skin. That bodes well for improvement across the board. Just like how Jordan Gross credits going up against Julius Peppers in practice for making him a better player. I mean no sh*t bro you had to block a certified HOFer every day hahaha

high energy day and the 3 injury's are all very minor. W

4 if you count Zavala, which seems a little more serious. Last I heard, he's week to week but expected back for regular season.

Man I hope Mike Jackson doesn't have turf toe. That ish will linger forever. And hammy for Renfrow? Really need to keep an eye on that.

It literally took me years to fully get over turf toe. Bring misdiagnosed as gout when I'm telling the doctor it's 100% an injury didn't help. I should've just left that office and bought a walking boot but just limped through it and now I also have knee issues on that leg from walking for months rolling my weight to the outside of my foot away from the big toe.

Damn that's rough, but I believe you. We had a running back from North Carolina back in the late 90s. Rushed for over 2000 yards his senior season. Never saw the field in college because of turf toe. Like for 4 years.

I used to mock turf toe. Like dude, it's a TOE. Man up and GTFO over it. Yeah, get a bad case of turf toe and report back. You don't realize how absolutely vital your big toe is until it's useless and causing you agony.

That's EXACTLY what he said. Almost verbatim.

    • I'm not sure that in a fair QB competition that Young would beat out Jones.
    • That's why I said stats aside. I lived in CO during Allen's college career and didn't have kids at the time so I watched most of his games. Bruh, I'm telling you. Balls just spraying all over the place. The type of throws where you're honestly trying to figure out who he was even trying to throw that one too. It was crazy. Richardson was inaccurate in college but at least you could tell who he was trying to throw it too. He threw a lot of early in the game Cam Newton type balls where it seemed like he was just a little too amped up and everything was a few feet high. Richardson's misses looked like they were maybe fixable with working on his footwork, release, etc. Josh Allen's misses looked like "ain't no way you're fixin' that poo, dude has a cannon equipped with no sights". LOL Huge props to the Bills for evaluating him as fixable and indeed fixing him.
    • A lot can change over the next week, but here is my best 53-man roster (note: I'm just basing this on guys on the 90 man roster currently). Obviously there could be trades/ waiver claims/ FA signings.   Offense (25) QB (2): Bryce Young, Andy Dalton RB (3): Chuba Hubbard, Rico Dowdle, Trevor Etienne TE (4): Tommy Tremble, JT Sanders, Mitchell Evans, James Mitchell WR (7): Tetoria McMillan, Xavier Legette, Adam Theilen, Jalen Coker, Hunter Renfrow, Jimmy Horn, Brycen Tremayne  OL (9): Ikem Ekwonu, Damien Lewis, Austin Corbett, Robert Hunt, Taylor Moton, Cade Mays, Chandler Zavala, Brady Christensen, Yosh Nijman    Defense (25) DL (6): Derrick Brown, Bobby Brown, Ashawn Robinson, Tershawn Wharton, Sam Roberts, Cam Jackson OLB (5): DJ Wonnum, Pat Jones, Nic Scourton, Princely Umanmielen, Thomas Incoom  ILB (5): Trevin Wallace, Christian Rozeboom, Krys Barnes, Jon Rattigen, Claudin Cherelus S (4): Trevon Moehrig, Demani Richardson, Lathan Ransom, Nick Scott  CB (5): Jaycee Horn, Mike Jackson, Chau Smith-Wade, Corey Thornton, Shemar Bartholomew    ST (3): LS: JJ Jansen  P: Sam Martin  K: Matthew Wright    Would like to hear everyone's thoughts
