That Trevin Wallace grade is concerning albeit with a very low sample size. Like it or not, we are likely heavily counting on him this year.

Wharton’s was pretty bad and we paid a premium for him. He has to play better.

Wharton got a bag for sure after getting to play on the chiefs. Top 20 contract at DT when he signed so the plays gotta be better. It was always an overpay but that's a massive gap. Hopefully when the season rolls around we forget this preseason performance.

Preseason week 1, a new defense, limited snaps so I can understand being a little shaky. We just absolutely need him to be a contributor this year.

I saw Wharton creating pressure, just not finishing the play. I think better Edge play would prevent escape routes for QBs like Shedeur to get away. DJ Johnson is the opposite of good Edge play.

I was referring to his PFF grade of 32.8

It is a bit surprising, I thought he had a couple of impact plays from what I saw. But I obviously didn’t hone in on all his snaps.

He shot the gap on a running play that was nice. Tfl I believe.  He is wearing a bicep brace? So I wonder what that's about

Knowing this board by week three they will both be busts... even though everyone knows Pass rushers and Dline take 3 years to adjust to the NFL

So what what you consider as a successful season for our two rookie edge rushers? Assuming Wonnum and Jones stay healthy?

From an offensive standpoint I’d be interested to see how the grades faired if Dave was actually calling the plays, Idzik had been running the offense all week per Canales

also as well as the D with Cooley calling the plays and not Evero
