Superb physical specimen with untapped pass rushing abilities due to lack of creativity in the defensive scheme. In the right environment he could quadruple production. 3rd round steal that could be something special under the right DC.

seasoned vet about to enter his prime at 27

runs a 4.49 40 at 6'5 260 pounds

First rounder is untouchable, could be Arch.

It’s not even about Arch, it’s that there is no way we should be trading a 1st rounder for a guy who might have 2-3 good years left in him because of his age.

Trading a 1st for a player like that is a win now move, this roster is nowhere near ready enough to make those kind of trades.

And trading a top 5-6 at position salary for a 5 year rookie deal.

This franchise has, and will do, stupider things.

If we're still flailing and need a QB when Arch Manning comes out in the draft, well...

Because Tepper is all about hype trains and to get a hype train with the last name "Manning"? Bruh is gonna be like, "I want that guy and I'm willing to trade...

literally-everything-fred-pye.gif

The absolute cherry on top of that dog poo sundae would us be swinging the trade and then the Mannings to be like "Yeah, remember Eli to the Chargers? Same thing." LOL

Well that's absolutely what would happen if the Panthers had the #1 overall pick and a chance to pick Arch Manning. He will absolutely, never ever be a Carolina Panther. The Saints are colluding to make him their pick next year. Our best hope is Bryce pans out or it's another 5 years of misery at a minimum.

I did not want to start or even think about *if* BY reverts back to pre-non last 9 games.

There is a lane in which Panthers are looking QB after this season, I feel its higher than most will realize. I mean....not kidding... has any team ever traded up to 1st overall twice in the teams history? I don't even want to think within 3 years, just foresee Tepper squeezing Dans and Brandts sacs to the point were they are forced to trade up for a another savior.....

The kicker is I feel this way with BY playing good-great..... I think there with be non-fixable problems for contract negotiations between BY&reps vs Panthers org on the whole. You can not pay 50+ million per over few years with 70% guarantees for 3,303 yards 15 TDs and 9 INTs......Cursed I tell you....

I think they might be scarred after the BY trade if that move fails. Or even more so if Caleb Williams pans out.

One hopes it will teach them to be patient but that isn't in Tepper's future.

Logically speaking, every trade is different.

Speaking from experience, I'm extremely gun shy about trading away future first rounders 😕

What about 33rd overall or 65th overall...

Great now just got a Edward PTSD flash back.....

Until the team is fixed- all future picks should be view as the first one in each round, not joking...

They, for the first time in gods knows, finally have all their original picks. A miracle in itself!!

    • summary: "let's talk about your draft, what did you think about Freeling" Dan:   guys with a huge upside, can come in and compete to start.  High ceiling "he does what for your offense?" Dan:   it's hard to find left tackles, guys that big and athletic.  We have Icky coming off an injury, we signed Walker, I believe your offensive line can never be too strong.  If we're going to win the game, it's gotta be up front on both sides of the ball, so we make a point of emphasis on making both sides of the front as strong as possible. "how many mocks did you see Monro falling to you." Not many times, left tackles are gonna go a lot earlier than when we took him.  We want to add the best player, in free agency or the draft"  that's our philosophy, to get the best players possible. "Hunter and Brazzell." Dan:  we followed the board.  Lee we felt very highly of him , super strong.  Brazzel so flexible and loose, can open the verticle.  Will Lee we held in high regard. "you take a look at your receiver room, Coker, my goodness, your offensive rookie of the year in Tet.  Lost Rico, but there is Jonathan Brooks. " Brooks coming off two knee injuries, he worked his way back, looking great, fully healthy, will help in pass and run game.  Icky, not sure when he's coming back but we're excited about both "plan on extending Bryce" we'll keep talking, will keep internally.  We believe in him, has such a great grasp of Canales and offense, has improved every year. "he's clearly come back from the benching, the arrow is trending up, where does he feel" Bryce knows where we stand with him, when and if a deal gets done, he knows we feel great with him, we'll get something done at the right time. "if this a prove it situation?" everyone in the building has to prove it, has to earn it. Tmac was everything we wanted, his work ethic, he's so big and talented, but he puts the work in, and is a great teammate. "your level of expectation, the building's level of expectation for 2026 "our goal is to win the division every year, we know we have to earn it.  we have to put the work in every day, proving it on the practice field, and our  guys know that." "schedule" we haven't opened at home in 2 or 3 years.  We love prime time games, hope we get some "
    • this one is gold:     Bryce has a cult inside the Panthers fanbase that has truly developed some NPC hivemind. I'll never understand how he's captured the true essence of the casual fan like that.
    • "everybody has to earn it, heading in the right direction, feel great about him, get it done at the right time"     Mother fuger
