He looked so bad in that last preseason game. Overthrowing screen passes and just looking lost out there. I don’t know what our staff sees in him. I don’t know if it’s cause networking and he is close to some coaches, if he’s some great film guy or does something amazing in the locker room to want to be kept here.

 

he was never even great in college. His stats are just okay. I know that it doesn’t mean that he can’t be a decent nfl player but I just don’t understand why out of all the other Qbs out there that he’s the one we keep.

 

in my opinion there’s so many more younger QBs who have way more potential and/or had better college careers. Why wouldn’t you want to invest in a player that you think could end up being a starter?
