If they want AT than they need to absorb his contract.  We aren't looking to trade him, they are looking to trade for him.

I wouldn't say that. 

I would think us absorbing some of the contract adds to the compensation we're looking to get back.

Like if they absorb the full contract we look at more 6th round pick compensation, but if we take some of the contract, we can ask for more.

Becton turned it around after getting away from the Jets. Notice how a lot of those bad draft picks are from teams that are a revolving door of being a dumpster fire (JAX, CLE, NYJ, LV). I'm honestly surprised we actually didn't F it up also since the Panthers are part of that dumpster fire squad

I vividly remember draft pundits saying that COVID screwed ALOT of things up with that draft and the inability to meet and see these players in person. Makes sense looking down the road.

Claudin Cherelus has only been on the team 2 seasons.

There is a difference between a backup on a udfa contract and Ian Thomas.
