Panthers possibly trading Thielen?

I dunno. I like thielen as a person and a player and he's been our most reliable option for 2 years. Buuuuuuuut....

We have drafted xl, tmac and horn.  We lucked into Coker. We have a couple udfa that could help us

We aren't going anywhere this year. Thielen is probably gone after this year. It's a surprisingly difficult choice but I say trade him for what you can get. Let's see what the young pups can do and maybe Renfrow makes the loss easier. If Bryce is dependent on a guy that won't even be here next year then he isn't him.

Thielen was at most a 3, maybe a 4 depending on Coker. Let's send him to greener pastures.

We still have tmac, Coker, xl, horn, probably moore and renfrow, maybe one of udfa, and 3 young te. Let's keep the youth movement going and see who we have

I could see this coming back to bite them in the arse. He should be replaceable but he has also been Bryce's security blanket.

We're the Panthers. Somehow everything we do comes back to bite us in the ass. LOL

If Bryce regresses this year and we choose to move on its practically guaranteed he goes somewhere else and turns into the Lions' version of Jared Goff.

His wife has been chatting it up on her IG and he always goes back to Minny in the off-season and has worked out with JJ the past two of seasons.

Well speaking of his wife she just posted 40 minutes ago 'Big News' on her IG. So we'll see if he's traded or if they just renovated the living room lol

She's also been going around and liking the posts about AT going back to the Vikings.

I think Theilen wants to play for the Panthers or retire. Even IF we wanted to trade him, I doubt it could happen.

AT came back for a check.

Now, give him an option of Minny vs here? I bet AT would prefer to leave and I doubt it’s that close.

so the math is open and known.  Minny wants him, AT will want to go….so it’s just the Panthers getting something of value from them.   Which I assume will be a draft pick

His wife is from that area and loves it up there, it's why they always go back and spend most of the summer in Minneapolis.

Says more about Horn Jr then it does about Renfrow.

I actually expect them to split time at slot with Horn taking more time away as the season goes on.

Horn was out on the field as they ran the clock out last night.  That tells you about Horn Jr.

if they trade AT….its because Coker and Renfrow can do what AT does

    • Idk man, I think it’s necessary.  There’s people working 9-5s everyday that get told poo about what they aren’t and what they’re not capable of and they’re working for scraps.  These guys are making millions.  People are watching and invested because their team and fandom is a part of their identity and a big source of pride.  When someone like Bryce comes in and is given chance after chance after chance after proving he is not worthy of the position he’s being gifted, and he continues to be the biggest reason above any that we are losing, yeah…  I think it’s fair to call a spade a spade.  Am I saying Bryce the person is trash?  Bryce the person is a piece of poo?  Absolutely not.     I came up in an era, especially in basketball, where if you were fuging up people heckled the poo out of you.  I played in rec leagues as a teen where the fuging parents were calling kids trash and yelling poo like “TURNOVER!!!  TURNOVER!!!”  “CANT DRIBBLE!”  “CANT SHOOT!”  And that’s adults screaming that poo to kids like we were in the fuging Rucker lol.🤣🤣🤣  I went on to play basketball at a collegiate level and with professional players in different settings.  What those experiences as a kid taught me was to see if there is any merit to what people are saying, and if there is, then work my ass off til they can’t say that anymore.  Come back better, tougher, harder.  And I did.  If kids can figure that poo out, an adult calling another adult who is bad at his job while making millions and millions of dollars will be just fine.
    • I have tried to like this team, lord knows I have tried. BY9 is a nice young man, if I had a daughter he can take her to prom, but he ain't QB1 and he's not Cam or Delhomme Chuba is a average RB, he isn't Stephen Davis, he isn't J-Stew McMillan has the makings of a good WR, but he isn't 89/Moose D. Brown is a great player, but if the game was on the line I want Kris Jenkins       I miss this brand of football, even in the bad Jake games the games were entertaining It has been nearly 8 years now of watching numb football
    • I'm not so sure. Something about the whole Frank/Bryce situation seemed off from day 1. Bryce didn't fit Frank's QB mold as well as Stroud, then he basically gives up when Bryce is named starter in preseason but gets virtually no reps in games. Then he looks completely unprepared and Dalton steps in in Seattle, has a decent game under immense pressure, and it's right back to Bryce. All his mechanics are terrible and he's having the worst rookie season ever and Frank doesn't bench him?  You dont have to be a conspiracy theorist to know Bryce wasn't ready to be a day 1 starter. Everything with Bryce, then coaches, and the FO seemed forced.
