Nothing worse going into the off-season wondering will they or won’t they move on from Bryce. I say anything less then stellar you movie on. Especially if we are drafting top 10.

Yeah, if there are still question marks after this season and there's a guy on the board when we're up that we think has a chance to be a franchise QB then you have to pull the trigger and move on. We will have given Bryce a fair shake at that point giving him three years and spending a ton of resources on OL and WRs.

There's maybe 10 wr's in the NFL worth a 3rd or more in a trade. Lmfao

If you don't want to part with something, you will keep it. Until the asking price gets to a certain point. You don't trade your best receiver for a 6th round pick. Period.

Periodt.

Don't even answer the phone without a 3rd being offered. They want him, they will pay for him. Otherwise, tell them to kick rocks.

That's what a lot of us were saying in the Bryce draft then 3 QBs went in the top 4.

There is, what, 6ish QBs that are projected to have a 1st round grade in 2026. I am not that worried if we are still drafting top 15. Anything pass that, guess we are sticking with Bryce for another year.

basically if the panthers trade Thielen they're not trying to win this year. I mean they're not going to regardless but this means its the plan not to.

no team is going into the season in 2025 with 80 career catches between their top 3 healthy WR.

you'd be turning this from a bottom 3rd of the league offense to like the nathan peterman bills

pair that with a defense that is most likely going to struggle, and they're looking at 2001 again.

I wouldn't be opposed to trading for Sanders and seeing if he could be developed here. We have zero plans, and I really don't think it would take Sanders long to produce more than Bryce has. Plus, he's on a 5th round rookie contract and if he became the guy, you instantly have three years to build a core of talent, much of which we already have.

I get flamed for this opinion but it is what it is, and I've been right about these type of things the past three years.

I said Nix would be a good NFL QB. Wanted to keep Darnold and trade down in 2023. Said QB play wasn't the QB's fault under Rhule, but rather the offensive design.

Give me Sanders in the room for a year with Bryce and Dalton, see what he can develop in to on the cheap. There are no really quality QB's coming out this year that aren't Allar or Manning, and Manning may not even be coming out.

If a 34 year old Adam Thielen is the lynchpin of your O you have a massive QB problem.

We'll see how it all plays out. Some of those guys will inevitably fall, some guys who may be off the radar currently may rise.

And once the cfb season is over, we’ll revisit and see how many are still 1st round talents. Carson beck was a projected 1st round and possibly top 10 pick prior to last years cfb season. Fast forward to now and he’s back in school and had to transfer to miami. A lot can happen between now and the draft. Think steelers and how they are never high enough to draft an actual franchise qb.

I can tell you they 100% answered and the compensation is a day three pick. lol

If this is the case, which I don't completely rule out, I wonder how Canales plans on navigating this mess of convincing Tepper we have to move on from Bryce while not getting himself canned in the process? Quite the tightrope to walk...

Well, that’s what happened last year.  The Carolina Panthers moved on from Bryce Young.  And they did it quick.  Think was sort of the deal when they hired Canales.

then in standard Panther fashion, there plan blew up in their face.   Canales sort of allowed the miracle to happen.  So now he is fugged IMO big picture.
