What’s the story on Jayden Maiava? Never seen him play, great stats and size.

He has an arm no doubt.  I think he has two NFL WRs with Lemon being one of the best in the country.  Add in RIley's offense helping QBs is hard to tell how much is him vs the system and weapons.  I wouldn't be against a mid to late flier on him though.

If the Jets and Browns are at the top of the board, expect A LOT of QBs to return to school.  Yes, they have that kind of option nowadays with NIL.  I think the only seniors (that potentially could be 1st rounders) are Allar, Beck and Klubnick.  All the rest of the top prospects are underclassmen.

Mendoza with another quiet, but effective road win.  Not eye-popping stats, but he did enough to run up the score and chill from the sidelines most of the 4th quarter again.  He's getting a little full of himself.  He had one pick for the game and it was a WR screen to the wide side of the field from the opposite hash.  Like c'mon bro, you got a good arm, but that's a dangerous throw for someone with a cannon.  Lucky for him it wasn't a pick six; it nearly was.

Been watching Sellers and even saw him in person vs Bama. He's so electric running, but he does not have it passing this season for whatever reason. I would be wary of him for now, but things could change after the firing of Mike Shula. He's just been inaccurate and missing guys, I think he's seeing ghosts after a ravaged o-line has done damage to his confidence.

The 2024 NFL draft saw a record-breaking six quarterbacks selected within the first 12 selections of the event. Things were much different last year with Cam Ward and Jaxson Dart the only passers to hear their names called.  Ahead of the current season, many felt a rebound would be coming at the position. Based on how things have played out so far, however, that stance has shifted around the league. As Jeff Howe of The Athletic writes (subscription required), there are “serious concerns” about the 2026 class and its potential.

“I don’t love any of [the quarterbacks] right now,” one NFL executive said. “We’re trying to grasp onto somebody because there isn’t anybody, and it’s such a flavor of the week. Good luck right now.”

    • Only thing I really see it doing is possibly making Tepper listen if a different play caller can't run the offense because of limitations. New hire, someone who hasn't been watching Bryce for the past 3 years up close may be able to talk some sense if he sees that he isn't able to get the job done.
