Lanoris Sellers = Cam lite?

More towards Josh Allen than Cam, but that isn’t a bad thing at all. His number one receiver is a former Olympic type sprinter turned DE turned WR. He is still raw in some aspects of course, but I think he can fit in very well here. Also I don’t know if it’s the coaching or what, but for a team full of highly ranked OL players his o-line is absolutely terrible. He is already preparing to run on most plays because he has defensive players in his face almost immediately on most plays.

His numbers are better than Richardsons completion wise. Richardson struggled with a pro offense.

Numbers are what they are, but I think what I was saying was he would benefit by staying another year at the college level, or sitting his 1st NFL year because there is a bit of that risk, that like Richardson, he is not prepared for the challenge of what the next level would present.

That said, I stand by the statement that we would probably draft him if given the chance, and then promptly begin the process of absolutely ruining him.

You guys need to stop looking for, and comparing every qb to Cam Newton. Its never going to happen again.

We don't need another Cam Newton in terms of generational physicality. We need a guy who has elements of his mentality and approach to the game. Our two best QB's in franchise history both carried themselves a certain way. They were unapologetically vocal and they were confident. They had a personality others gravitated toward. They weren't quiet and meek. That's what we need to be looking for. Along with the basic necessary physical tools. So basically the complete opposite of what we've been currently trying to make work.
