“Can’t sit through the game” but an active member/complainer on the huddle.

Makes sense.

It's been the only real fun since Tepper bought the team but some people take a lot longer to catch up to that fact. Welcome to the future dude

It's not saddly. We had these last year too. It was 2 bad teams but if it makes you feel better then fan how you want as always. I just can't sit through them anymore personally, just too boring. Atlanta showed up with nothing yesterday and ran their game like a practice again.

I feel for you then. Obviously the losing broke you. Why not pick a team you can be happy about? Or a different sport if you are done with football.

Felt like the best game from the defense in a long time, especially first half wise. Despite the muff the D didn't fold like they have after previous turnovers.

Yeah defense was incredible, not that surprising with Penix playing terrible but we also completely bottled up Bijan which was a shocker to me and a great sign. The D still has several holes, I HATE the 3-4 and don't think Evero is any good -- BUT Brown and Horn are both legit superstar caliber players and now we're seeing some of the young guys' potential which is definitely encouraging.

Also, aside from Etienne's fumble, our ST was absolutely lights out. Fitz perfect on XP/FGs of course but also our kickoffs were amazing -- both his placement on the kicks and our coverage getting there.

Im doing all the NFL has to provide for me which is making fun of the mess Tepper made.

If the Browns and 49ers owners can eventually figure out how to do better than there is always next build. That's the only hope ai have for the Panthers and it's held since 2020 when the Rhule debacle was rolled put and fell flat.

Laughter is great. I would rather have good football but that hasn't been around since 2018 so laughter it is.

Stopped? Of the four player recording rushes, none averaged less than 4 YPC. The team average was 5.7 YPC.

We didn't come close to ever slowing their running game down. That was why it was so insane to see them keep passing over and over.

Check out their first half drives. Bijan rushed like 10 times and got half his yards for the half on two carries mid way thru the 2nd quarter.  He had 2-3 yards on the vast majority of his rushes in the first half, so they were forced into third and long repeatedly.

Feels nice to have a kicker again

I really think they came into that game cocky thinking the W was guaranteed and they could use it as an opportunity to work on some different stuff. You just can't take any game for granted in the NFL. At the end of that day, that team might suck relative to the other NFL teams but it's still comprised of some of the best football players on the planet. There's a MUCH smaller talent gap between the #1 and the #32 NFL team than there is the #1 and #32 college team. Hell, there's probably a smaller gap between #1 and #32 in the NFL than there is #1 and #10 in college.

When teams suck people often make comments like "I'd take Alabama by 10 over the Panthers" and I get it, it's fun to mock and make fun of shitty teams. But for the people out there who do truly believe things like that, they are just incredibly delusional. #32 team in the NFL would easily win against the best college team by at least 50 points, probably more. The #32 NFL team would even beat a college all star team with relative ease.

I think we are building the defense which is who we are. As for offense we are acquiring good pieces for whoever the QB is. If not Bryce then the next one. Maybe Canales can do something with Hooker. Who knows.

That was not the same Evero defense yesterday. He rushed 4 and 5 and generated a lot more oressure. We also used more man coverage which wasn't that often but previously almost nonexistent. I really thought this was the best game he coached.

3 games in a row of crap level football and that's with the usual begining of the season curb. Multibillion dollar industry and it's all toddler slap fighting. If that floats your boat then have at it.

Nothing about this team looks like it will not be picking top 10 again. The biggest competition there is the continued devolution of the NFL into the low quality of the school leuge.

I miss good football and not celebrating a loser winning a few ugly games.

So you watched a 9 play 61yd TD drive in which the QB was 5/7 for 40+yds and a TD run and were like “what a terrible drive”?

I watch 1 series each and turned it off. Im done watching flacid NFL games. The other game on was Pittsburgh vs NE and that last about the same for me. This crap is getting completely unwatchable

I'm right there too.  I didn't watch the Panthers.  We are not a Prime Time team.  A blind hog will find an acorn eventually.  I've been a Panthers Fan from the beginning.  When they get their head out of the ass and start looking like a Prime team, then I'll watch.  Not spending hard earned money to go see them play.

    • Would be happy with Lomu or Iheanachor at 19. Fano is intriguing but I don't think he makes it.
    • II see it this way: We have to look at long-term needs and current depth.  We have filled some key spots with players on one-year contracts.  I firmly believe that they intend to pay Bryce some big bucks next year.  That means you cannot hope that your rookies in 2027 can fill the spots vacated by the veterans you could not afford to re-sign.   We need to consider the cap and the fact that the need to start a rookie is not viewed as a positive by coaches and general managers, but they value first contracts--so it is a delicate balance. I think they have to look at the cap by position--"Can we afford a $50m QB and a $100m OL?  That is half the cap, before you pay your WRs and RBs and TEs.  They need to start getting younger on the OL as well.   I am not suggesting that we draft OT in round 1, but we could and I would get it.  RT on a 1-year deal, they may have intel about Ickey (who was not the best LT, to be honest) and 32-year old Moton is on a bad wheel.   Now if you go by Morgan's history, you can almost tell what position we are going to address with the first pick by noting the positions he has not focused on in free agency.  DT, considering the lack of performance by those not named Derrick Brown and the loss of Robinson, is screaming to be addressed with a top player.  Wharton is not an early down DT (DE if you want to get technical) and our LBs need to be clean--they were not in 2025.  Look for a DT early. I also think we will address ILB (pass covering Will) on day 2.  The other day 2 pick will be an OT, in my view. Do not rule out CB.  We are thin there too, and Jackson is in his final year.  I am not sure that we love Smith-Wade.  Some crackhead on here talked about moving him to S----stay tuned.   Hopefully, a team wanting Ty Simpson will move up and offer us a pick or two to move back. DT WILB OT OC QB  (you heard it here 337th--but this pick could come sooner than you think.
    • Bryce had some bad games, but he had some good ones as well (and this is coming from a Bryce skeptic). I think it's a little simplistic to put all the offensive woes on Bryce, you also should be looking at O-line play, receiver play, RB and TE play, and also coaching. There's no way when I look at the offense in it's totality am I ready to say that a so-so to bad offense was all on Bryce, and, I also can't say that we don't need to upgrade any position on offense, save Tetairoa McMillan (who also wasn't perfect) and maybe the starting guards and T-mo.
