I’m at the game and they are single covering TMac and Legette. Please tell me why they can’t run a play in the end zone where one of these players just jump up and catch the ball. These CBs are not good.

Bryce would under throw a purposely underthrown ball.  He can’t do it.

The play calling with 2 minutes left tells you all you need to know about the confidence they have in Bryce.  2 runs, a screen, short outs, etc.

Then there is the discipline and management.  Timeout call, clock management, 2 false starts, and not throwing the ball to the back of the endzone with TMac going up for it.

We truly suck.

Only reason they got remotely back into the game is because they took Young essentially out of it all.  Rico got us back into this game.

He got double bracketed last week, kinda surprised that Miami isn't doing the same. I'll be shocked when the teams come back from halftime and he isn't double bracketed.

First name Bryce.  Last name Young.  Canales wanted 3 not a Bryce INT

    • Aggressive runner, hits the hole fast, and runs angry.  Just a few yards shy of the single game record for the team.  Absolutely phenomenal performance.  If the gameplan hadn't become weirdly pass heavy for the 3rd and first half of the 4th quarters he might have been flirting with 300.
    • I felt that way before the season started, but I'm sorry, he's already proven he isn't that guy, I don't need to learn anything more about him. He threw the ball 30 times today and could only throw for 198 yards, which was his 2nd best yardage game this year, he's just not the guy. Which means this season has already moved onto the 2nd most important thing going into this season after evaluating Bryce, and that's developing our best young players. You don't do that by only throwing 8 of your 30 passes to your best player who is still only a rookie.  Pepper him with targets and help develop him so he's ready to take a huge leap next year when we get a real HC and QB to get him the ball.
    • Every win comes from a non-sustainable source.  As CRA mentioned, Penix absolutely imploding against ATL, and then today, defense finally clicked and looked the best they’ve looked in a long time (and still have up 24 points lol) and Rico ran for 200+ yards.  We’re not going to get that every week, especially against good teams, which neither Miami or ATL are.  Both MIA and ATL are bad teams and Bryce still couldn’t get it together.  The defense (and team) had to overcome 14 points because of his turnovers again.  That was not even an average QB performance.  We are winning in spite of him.
