Any well functioning team benches Bryce

One of the things I hate most about Bryce is how all these “big drives” require like multiple fourth down conversions, a bailout dpi, defenders not making tackles, etc.

Like bro this is a dolphins team that might not win another game this season why does every drive feel like the Normandy scene from saving private Ryan

Get used to it. Thats how it's going to be with him behind center until someone else takes over.

God forbid a QB gets help from a supporting cast lol.

Help? My guy...I think you are confusing that with CARRIED. He puts them in the hole because he can't contribute anything positive until later when everybody else climbs us out the hole then he finally makes a play here and there to help win a game.

He is the reaper of his own team.

Totally agree. Enjoying the win but benching Bryce could really give this team a shot in the arm.

and whom are you going to put in place of him at this moment. Hooker? We all know Andy is done and just a shadow of himself.

It’s a good question I’m just so tired of not trusting the same guy who has shown he’s not capable. The team showed up to play today and Young almost squandered their effort.

It’s far more likely Young shits the bed next week especially if it’s on the road. There’s no potential left to unlock. I’m just so tired of it. I’m tired of waiting for him to turn the ball over or panic, or both.

Bryce getting credit for putting out a house fire he started?

No. Young is not a NFL QB. His ceiling is a back up.

But I do agree with not benching him. Give him the season then move on.

I’m fine with him playing unless he skids so bad it hurts the development of the existing roster. At some point I would think tanking every year is worse than actually trying to build a winning organization.

He didn't lead them to a win, Rico and the defense did.

No he didn't lead them to a win but that last drive he quarterbacked them to a win. Remember the defense did give Miami the lead again. The only way to win it was by touchdown and by the time they got the ball they didn't have much time left to get within FG range. Do we need another QB. Yes, but till we can get another QB he is the best on the roster.

He played bad in that first quarter, but you can't bench him after leading the team to a win after being 17-0 down.

Although the reason it was close was because of his turnovers, he did lead a game winning drive. He will be the quarterback at least for the duration of his rookie contract. I don’t see the Panthers drafting a quarterback this year. Maybe next.

    • I mean, in theory Bryce could get over the hump. That aside, you have to know that due to the situation we are going to give him another year. From some perspectives, it just makes sense. I'm not saying that I agree or disagree with it, but it's not like the draft is chock full of franchise QBs. I'm thinking that only one, the consensus top pick, is destined to be the only one in this draft (and some people don't believe in him). All we can do is sure up the room with an FA (Pickett) and take a swing or two and hope (maybe the dawg Pavia). 2027 should bring better options if it comes to that.
    • Let's be honest here. We have one WR on this team that would be in the top 3 of ANY other team. And he was a rookie last year. I love Coker but he is an often injured UDFA. He wouldn't have even gotten a chance on other teams. The rookie injury would have bounced him around the league for the next 5 years until he stopped trying to make a roster. It's a numbers game for most teams and he would have (at best) been on some team's practice squad. But Carolina has been so devoid of talent at the position, that we didn't have much of a choice. Bryce leaves a lot of questions but to say he hasn't elevated anyone isn't true. No WR has left Carolina since he's started and did better on another team. Not one. And there are several to choose from. Coincidence? Maybe. Probably not.
