Well.  At least they aren't one of those teams yet

…and you are probably right

…and yes the flaws are still there

but on this Sunday, the blind squirrel  did find the acorn

lets just enjoy the acorn for now.

There is nothing as sweet to me as sending those  freakin  Cowboy fans quietly out of charlotte

Fast forward to April and we're likely lamenting these wins when we draft a LB at #13 and pickup Bryce's option.

Not falling for this kind of garbage logic anymore, this ain’t 2021

I'm warning y'all, don't fall for it. Our three wins are against teams that are a combined 5-10-1.

The Dolphins are skewing that number quite a bit. If the Falcons and Cowboys beat us, they’d both be over .500. The Falcons currently are .500. I don’t think we are a playoff team, but maybe we aren’t a bottom tier anymore. We can beat bad to kind of bad teams at home. We need to beat the Jets on the road next week.

    • In a perfect world he’d play out his contract and if he looks great you can tag or extend him. But I wouldn’t offer more than a third. And I wouldn’t extend up front
    • I have already seen him mocked to 7.
    • I am not endorsing or rejecting.. just commenting. NYG GM Schoen and Morgan are like, vacation buds. Did the Burns trade already.  If we had interest it should be do-able. One year rental? Could be cheap. But it would need to be. Maybe a player could go back to them. More than that? Like trade for and extend him? I don’t know enough about him to really say about that. What LG just said sheds some light.    In a general sense, we have done well with our late rounders but the reason for that may apply less going forward. Tillis referenced this as well in his combine interview the other day. When you have holes everywhere it is easy to fill them with a draft pick, but once you have gotten things to a certain level that changes. At that point maybe a late round pick doesn’t upgrade your team like it did n previous seasons.  Hence the low picks become less impactful for us, there is less utility. Which could play into them being more willing to use them in a trade.
