Unfortunately but also probably best for the long term outlook as it's only going to give more snaps to Scourton and Princely to hopefully expedite their growth

They cannot play every down. They still need rotational help. Hope there is someone on the practice squad.

Well sure, but now instead of them getting some backup snaps to Jones, now someone else will be getting the backup snaps to them more.

Not wishing injuries on our players, but if we're going to get them, it's always better to have them at the positions that we have young promising players on the roster to absorb the majority of those snaps.

Thats a given. But the point remains that an already struggling pass rush group just lost their best rusher, if you can call him that at this point.

With a name like Boogie he's got to be a real NFLer, right?!?!?  He was a 2nd rounder and played at WF.

Drafted in 2021, he's still "young" for the NFL

It seems Panthers like him over DJ Johnson. 

He was a 4-3 end for the bills and giants traded for him last year. Maybe he's a better OLB?

I think the main point was saving $$$ and they were able to roll over the cash saving next year too.

*I also think they didn't forsee drafting 2 edges and didn't want lazy clowney to rub off on them. Either one can coast by on shear talent like clowney has for 10 years...
