Trade for a QB?

Dalton is barely serviceable at this point and Young is what he is. Short of playing Hooker, they are behind the eight ball at this point.

They should have figured this out months ago, but here we are. I'm not sure who they would trade or if they have anyone of worth that they can afford to lose.

Need to do something. The QB room is empty.

Any ideas?

Unless that QB is named Jameis, I have no interest in any other QB this year.

Jameis is the type who can help your young weapons get better as he can make any throw, even though he'll also end up costing you games as well.

But we can't be giving up more assets for QBs that won't solve anything for us.  Jameis at least would be worth whatever we have to give up because of how much it will help our WRs and TEs

Need to wait until the BY injury injury is known. I've seen ankle and if its a high ankle those can last 4-6. Im not video doc expert, that play didn't look like anything that was IR'd worthy..... but he didn't finish either....so....

FYI there is zero Free agents. Hooker would be the best option.

It's most definitely not a high ankle since the injury seemed to be when he got stepped on, don't think you can get a high ankle sprain without twisting/rolling the ankle

Yeah, it’s surprising how quickly Dalton has deteriorated from the time he stepped in last season.  Age caught up fast.

Hooker was one of the guys I wanted us to look at as a possible backup/competitor to Bryce when he came out in the draft, but from what Dan Campbell said and what I’ve read, Hooker was pretty frustrating to watch in Detroit…  so we may be in for a rough go of it.

Fiz mentioned in the game thread, that looked more like a broken bone type deal, and he’s in the medical field.  I would tend to agree, as a grizzled veteran of ankle sprains, I would be surprised if that’s what it is.  Didn’t appear that he rolled it at all.

    • Hornets lead down to 16 early in the third.   Derrick White is single handedly keeping the Celtics in this game.
    • Looks like Miller is definitely grabbing his wrist out there.
