Yeah The King of Pop is a serviceable #2. Better than JAG level IMO, but playing across from a no-fly zone, he's going to get picked on

100%. He's a serviceable starter but not a shut down CB by any means. Not too bad for $5.25M /year.

Last year teams didn’t have to throw against us.  Jackson is strong in run support and can cover average WRs.  Asking him to pick up the other teams number 1 WR is the height of stupidity when you have Horn.  Again Evero and his retarded system puts us at a disadvantage before the snap.  Good teams will exploit this over and over again.

What is it ranked currently, #7 overall?

If those edge rooks develop and have a good offseason program that could really help. I want to say we need more pass rush but we might just have to wait a little bit for some help. I mean, maybe it won’t be a dire need in a year.

We still need more pass rush - but they're a good start. You need 4 guys to rotate at OLB.

You’re right. I guess I was looking at it like we don’t have to sell out hard to get some help there.
With the way DB creates havoc I would think an inside backer that was a strong blitzer could be a weapon.

Teams have a year of tape on him.

however I think he’s been good in general outside of one game against George Pickens who low key might be a top five receiver in the nfl.

watching one game against Dallas and making a whole opinion on his season is pretty much what national reporters do tho

They have 7 years of tape on him.

How does Rosebust not get on the disappointment list?  I get that Jackson<Horn but if we had a Mike Jackson caliber FA at LB and probably a couple other positions the team would be in much better shape.

Not saying he's the second coming but there are a few positions that can be improved with the addition of good/not great players.

Overall? I think so.  But surely you aren’t trying to justify allowing the opposing offense to matchup their #1 WR against MJ by simply switching sides?

The defense is playing much better this year and could potentially play even better by allowing Horn to shadow the best WR.

Slightly above expectations?!

If we keep stacking offseasons like this one we'll be running the NFC South for a long time.

I mean....I think we are getting ahead of ourselves a bit there but Inhave been very pleased with the early returns. Cautiously optimistic.
