I think if it got to that point he'd sell it before letting it completely die. He said TheBigKat wasn't serious.

Funny that.  I know a former poster that was willing to put mid 6 figures on the table and couldnt get his attention

Anyone willing to spend mid-six figures on this site is a certified moron.

My point was that the dude wasnt going to sell regardless.  The dude I know made a small fortune in tech and spends money on poo he likes without a lot of worry about the pay back.  I dont know what BigKat put out there but my point was I dont think it would have mattered unless it hit 8 figures.

Like a bunch of y'all I went to reddit today and yes it's not great. But is the problem them ... or us?

I'm not saying we're right about everything or even most things but people just blindly homering an organization with seven (soon to be eight) consecutive losing seasons sure as hell ain't gonna be right about much.

I think he either wasn't serious or Zod just didn't think he was serious. Which yeah, it would be hard to take anyone seriously if they were talking about spending mid-six figures on this site.

The board is worth about $15k at most, maybe $10k… and he probably wouldn’t let it go for much less than $30k.

Anyone claiming they’re putting anything substantial down for a dying platform of Xennials and random old people that figured out the internet is either insane, lying, or both.

BigKat has never been serious.

Yeah, the forum is honestly a dying platform in general. Most have been gobbled up (and basically killed) by Vertical Scope. The rest have been hurt bad by the rise of social media and reddit becoming the "catch all" with subreddits for everything under the sun. It is what it is.

I still like the Huddle and I think it has enough users to keep conversation going and fresh but not so many that it feels like chaos.

Reddit is fine. Been there for years. The issue with Reddit is more along the lines of maintaining decorum, good online manners, and being generally a nice person, even in the face of absolute stupidity from other posters. Don't let the trolls and idiots get under your skin, and don't overreact from down votes. As far as quality of discussions, it is very mixed, and overall, it is easier to be a Bryce Young fan there right now.

    • Another ugly loss incoming.
    • 5 yards a carry is great IMO opinion because we are talking an average of 2nd and 5, which means the defense can't sit solely on the pass or run. I understand 5 is an average and not all carries are going to be that, but he definitely had better runs than Chuba. When we have Chuba running the ball for 1 or 2 yards and getting stuck in 2nd and 8 or 3rd and 6, we have to pass - which as we saw was the nail in the coffin for us with Dalton back there. The only 2 drives in the game where we had a legit chance of scoring (before garbage time) was the drive we scored a FG on and the drive Andy took the inexcusable sack on to cost us points. No coincidence that the RB on the field those drives was Rico (who pretty much picked up 5+ yards every carry outside of that goofy direct snap play). It really needs to be a 2-to-1 ratio of snaps in favor of Rico going forward (unless Chuba gets better). I don't care if we are paying Chuba more. Other teams have had no problem benching the guy being paid more if the other player is doing better - just look at the Falcons and them starting Penix over Cousins like 6 games into his rookie season.
    • Depends on perspective. I do think the talent is great. Whether T-Mac reaches his potential is another story, especially within these current circumstances. Some of the metrics are really good already (like average yards per catch). Even PFF already had him as the 20th or so best WR in the league.
