Can’t get over this

Canales seemed pissed off in his press conference today. He referenced the leadership council multiple times. I feel like there was some type candid feedback and exchange from both sides and they pushed Canales to make changes he didn’t want to make or the FO didn’t want him to make.

Rico was the starting back in only two games and still is top 5 in rushing yards. He only had double digit carries in 4 games.

Canales is an idiot

Rumor is Canales is giving him less and less carries each game because every time Rico runs the ball, he is making DC look more and more like an idiot...

I feel like DC is the equivalent of a Falcons fan playing Madden and subbing out all of the Panther's starters for training camp fodder to make us go 0-16

Well said. I just don’t understand how Canales thinks he will gain the respect of your players if you don’t play the best players based on their level of play and contribution.  Everyone is so damn coddled it’s no wonder they fold when punched in the mouth

Mr Rogers without the sweater

He does things even a high school coach wouldn't do

frankly, he is a bad version of Pete carroll

I've heard this mentioned recently. What in the actual fưck is the "leadership council". Like man we've had coaches in the past in Rivera and Fox who we have eviscerated for their decisions but never once did I hear either of them mention a leadership council when they shīt the bed on something. The Tepper's have truly done a remarkable job sustaining joke status for this franchise it's unbelievable.

Leadership council sounds very cuckish.   Just be the man dave and make the fuging decision.  You are the head coach after all

Okay, tinfoil hat time, but this seems as good a place as any.

Don't you think it's possible Canales was saving Rico's carries for winnable games? You're starting Andy Dalton against the Bills. Is that really the game you want risk injuring your star running back by giving him 20+ carries?

Yeah, I'd feed Chuba too, and keep Rico healthy for Green Bay when you're starting QB is back.
