I remember being in Confirmation class in that 99 game as we had it on Sunday afternoon. I remember our pastor turned the radio on and we all listened to the last drive. When you guys scored our whole class was so depressed.

I did the tour there once in the offseason.  It was cool but there is literally nothing else there.  It's like a weird satellite of Milwaukee.

That's awesome you got to see us win.  I thought about going to this game, but I didn't want to sit on those bleachers and watch us lose.  I'm glad I was wrong.

Yeah I wasn't sure about weather so wimped out and got tickets with actual plastic seats

Having a DC pitch a Shutout against a divisional rival ain't enough, giving the cowboys an L or giving an L in the Bay,  sounds like a fake fan just wanting to throw hate instead of swallowing their pride...

Right here. But part of his success is what I said from the beginning. You cant expect the D to hold up when the offense can't stay on the field. All of a sudden we're doing what our offensive line is built to do, using a RB with burst and vision, and our defense is staying fresh and it shows. 

Conversely, vs Buffalo. We didnt use our best back, our offense looked like poo, our defense was gashed then gassed, and got run over all game. Pretty damned predictable.

I am eating crow this week as I thought we would win. As the game got closer though I got worried. Some interviews of your players before the game had me concerned as they seemed fired up. We felt more cocky. That had me worried.

I ageee about the Buffalo game. You put the defense on the field that long to start the game you are probably going to pay for that all day long. 

Coming back from that to compete in Green Bay, and steal one, is not easy or really that common. 

edit: as far as Evero, I was pretty much outraged at the level of support taken from the defense for 2 solid years. I had no expectations for him to meet.

Right. Im just pointing out game plan makes a difference. Using Rico and his 6 YPC gave us better down/yards to go than Chuba was. Easier to pick up 4 in 2 downs than 6 on 3rd. Longer sustained offensive drives, longer breathers, more time to compose and analyze what opposing offense is doing, etc.  Makes a DCs life easier. 

I give Evero his props, he's bounced back. My biggest frustration was his lack of willingness to adapt when things weren't working. He seems to be doing that more now. Though I wanted to reach through the TV when I saw DBs 10 yards off on 4th down.
