Throw in Pat Jones II and Rozebloom, when’s the last time we’ve gone into FA and gotten great contribution without going nuts on spending

this is better than the year we got Ken Lucas and Mike Wahle

based off Morgan’s performance early on the only thing stopping this team is David Tepper if he decides he wants to meddle again

Solid in free agency, and lets not forget the draft--Most teams expect to get 2 starters/key contributors out of the draft.  3 is a banner year, but more common for bad teams.

Look at this draft:

TMac.  Yes please.  Sorely needed since XL is becoming the road kill he often eats.

DAY 2

Scourton.  Pay attention.  he is a stud and playing like one.  A second-round edge?  Rare.

Princely.  He has flashed a bit, but he is developmental. Bothered by an ankle.   I expect him to step up, if he is going to, by year 3.  That is the year, if you think about it. we saw the emergence of Greg Hardy and Charles Johnson.  I have not seen him on the field much lately (injured?) but I noticed he was a liability vs. the run in the few plays I paid attention.  Too early to tell.

DAY 3

Etienne.  As a returner and third RB, a key contributor for a fourth rounder.

Ransom.  He has been contributing, and I have little doubt he will push Scott to pasture.

Mitchell.  Perhaps Morgan's best pick.  A good blocking, pass catching TE with swag.  In round 5.  I think he is our best TE already.

Horn.  They are finding ways to use him.  Yes, he reminds me of Steve Smith a bit during his first half season of his rookie year.  They did not really know what they had at that time.

Cam Jackson: A fifth rounder has not played much, but he was and is developmental.

We're still winning in spite of our QB room that he assembled. It remains to be seen how long we can sustain that.

True but he did inherit said QBs and likely felt pressure from the owner to try and make it work. Let’s see what he does this offseason, since it’s apparent the current situation is obviously not the long term solution.

Signing Rico Dowdle alone gives him an "A".  Now we just have to figure out how to keep him on the roster after this year.  I wouldn't be opposed to franchise tag (if allowed) while we look for trade suitors for Chuba in the offseason.

If we're speaking truthfully he didn't inherit anything he was directly a part of the decision making process that brought us both Young and Dalton. And he has kept the QB room intact aside from third string UDFA and other practice squad level QB's like Hendon Hooker and Mike White. If the owner pushed for it he should be willing to pushback and tell his boss they must do what is best for the team this go around. We cannot repeat that same mistake three years in a row. Such would be unforgivable.

I expected Brown to be more impactful. Hopefully Wharton is coming on now. He's getting more snaps now that both are playing.

Rozeboom is decent after the terrible start.

Considering Tuttle has done nothing

Brown is a significant improvement from Tuttle

They are neck and neck in production per game. He may be an improvement but given how limited his role is its not very impactful.

Which is why I said I expected him to have more impact.
