Why do people think Bryce Young won this game yesterday?

our gameplan to win and coaching is literally all designed around the fact Bryce Young isn't a good NFL QB.

PJ Walker has a winning record as a starter in Carolina.  That never made PJ Walker a good QB.

CRA I remember you from a decade ago. Hope your well. Speaking of PJ Walker I remember Rodney Pete in Carolina. He was ok for half a season.

You guys seem to dislike Bryce. I think it’s time to draft a QB in 26.

its rhe panthers they will give him a huge extension in the offseason and make him a top 5 paid qb at least. i mean he passes for 100 yards a game what more could a team want out of a qb.

You win with Bryce Young, not because of him. Most people would agree with that. We have a throw together Oline and no true TE1 either. Feel like true TE1 Could help Bryce. We've already matched our win total of last year and I expect 3-4 more. Just got to enjoy some improvement after the last 3 seasons.

Panthers literally missed the playoffs by a game in 2022 and had the best win since 2017 when they beat Brady.

The NFC South was so bad it sent a team with a losing record to the Playoffs that year. Wilks had players playing hard at the end but let’s not act like that was a good season. That season hurts even more now that we see in hindsight how good our QB situation was. We just didn’t know it.

These tards are pointing to the Rico run on the last drive as it actually being Bryce Young's audible for pass protection making it happen.

It is entirely possible to defend your point without calling a bunch of people "tards".

Bryce Young sucks.  The vast majority of football fans acknowledge and accept this, especially on this site despite the very few who may argue otherwise, and even then, I find it is more in a "cut him some slack" kind of way and not a "he's the future of the team" kind of way. At the end of the day, if you look hard enough on the Internet, you are always going to find takes that drastically differ from what you perceive to be the truth.

And nobody who's football opinion is worth listening to has argued Bryce Young is the MVP.  Again, that is an example of you looking way too hard on Twitter, assuming that is something you have actually even read.

Cause this place has too many retards.

Why do we keep using this language?  I really don't get it. Call me soft, that is okay.  But it feels unnecessary.

All real commentary Ive seen says Dowdle and the Defense helped a struggling QB.

I dont look at Twitter or social media sports accounts. Most are likely AI generated

Bryce is not struggling.

    • I think we pick it up and then someone else ends up emerging as the QB next year and we end up cutting him in year 5 and eating it.  That would be the most on brand thing to happen.
    • Evero has his faults, but even in that loss, the team only gave up 20 points. Your post gets to the heart of the matter. We are not a talented team on defense at this time. Some of our younger guys may develop w/more playing time, but for now we have no impact players at LB or EDGE. We could really use a ball-hawking S on the back end as well. We have exactly two players that have to be accounted for on every play, D. Brown, and J.Horn. Mike Jackson has been solid. The other starters would probably be backups on most the upper echelon NFL teams. We really can't expect this team to a Top 10 defense with such a lack of talent. All things considered I've been somewhat impressed with how much better they have played this year.   https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/opponent-points-per-game   https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/opponent-average-team-passer-rating We are in the top 15 in terms of points allowed per game (22.6) and top 12 in defensive passer rating (88.9). And, we are doing this without a formidable PASS RUSH. Even our rushing defense has improved. We are #16 in rushing yards allowed per game (116) compared to 179 per game last season. https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/opponent-rushing-yards-per-game I wouldn't cry if Evero moved on after the season, but his defense isn't the biggest worry for our team.
