QB 2026 (For the Young Haters)

Bryce has flat out and consistently been one of the worst if not the worst starting QB in the NFL over the last 3 years.  Anyone worse hasn’t played all 3 seasons.

We are having to play painfully archaic and safe football given he is our QB.  It’s winning in spite of him being the QB almost every time we find a win

that’s just reality.

and Bryce is statistically, pretty much unchanged.  And our wins are all on the back of Rico…..minus the Penix implosion.  And Bryce did nothing that Atl game either

Bryce's first season he had a shitty coaching staff and shitty supporting cast. Last year he had a new coach, shitty supporting cast and no supporting cast. He's had his ups and downs but has shown that he can manage a game, make some great throws, run, do whatever it takes to win. Thank God football is a team sport because your QB should not have to single handedly win you games. The more time goes by, the more he looks like he understands his ability, what he excels at, what he doesn't do well, and he gets more comfortable and confident. He's got some new targets, some coaching stability, and the record is showing that. Hate to break it to you. Would you rather have Burrow who had an MVP season with no playoffs? TEAM SPORT. How about Burrow out hurt again because of his shitty team? Flacco who took over for him threw 4 TDs yesterday and lost. TEAM SPORT BRO! TEAM. SPORT.

I hate to break it to you…..but in the year 2025….the Panthers pass attack isn’t much more threatening or productive than Bryce’s rookie season.

yeah, give me Joe Burrow 8 days a week lol

it is a team sport.  And you are highlighting the inverse.  Naming non-weak links.   Bryce is the weak link in Carolina and this season is probably the best evidence of it to date

TMac is one of the best young receiving targets and is just starting to scratch the service. Already a huge upgrade.

I don't think you understood my question, would you rather have an MVP QB that is constantly hurt due to shitty line play and having to play hero ball, missing the playoffs regularly or a game managing, point guard of QB that has you in the playoff hunt and is available and winning games.

Anyone in the world is going to take Burrow thats a non quesiton.

Also point guards can pass thats Bryce's weak point.

I just don't see how. The physical tools just aren't there. The ceiling is really low. I knew his physical talent ceiling was limited coming into the draft but honestly even as a guy who didn't want Bryce in the draft because of that, I still significantly underestimated just how limited he was going to be on an NFL field.

Yea his off platform and ability to make plays like he did in college just hasn't translated. He was never going to be a prototypical drop back passer. He has to make a living going outside the structure of the play call and he hasn't been able to do that anywhere near a consistent basis. However he did make some plays yesterday when he needed to. Not that we couldn't have gotten that from anyone else but I've definitely seen plenty of good QBs come up short in those situations.

Burrow or Bryce? Seriously? 32 out of 32 NFL coaches are taking Burrow. Remember we paid 100m to put Bryce behind a good offensive line. Just because Cincy isn’t managed well doesn’t mean anyone in their right mind is taking Bryce and his 3 years of mediocrity over Burrow’s elite level ability.
