And this is what people need to understand. This is how a winning culture is built. We're a young team trying to find our way and we'll definitely take our lumps here and there. But the amount of bitching and complaining when we're sitting at 5-4 is kind of crazy. The last few years we would have killed to have a 5-4 record at this point instead of 1-7 2-6 or 0-8. I dont care how we win ive watched my favorite football team be complete ass for far too long.

Sunday felt good. Fug you if you feel different. #KeepPounding

Point of contention. We aren't a young team

I think we just need a thread that is titled "Bryce Young" and every post just auto-corrects to only "Bryce Young" so that everyone gets the "Bryce Young" out of their system

If we were to go through your post history what percentage do you think might be, at least tangentially, concerning Bryce Young? As in shading people who are not fans or Bryce Young as our QB going forward, or directly responding to the mention of his name or the criticizing of his play, etc etc. ?
You don’t contribute to this environment, like ever?

Duh

I wouldn't mind him as a number 2 backup and leader from the bench. But we have to upgrade the position and there's no way Dan and Dave don't see it too if we see it

You can't keep around a former #1 pick as the backup to his replacement because he wasn't good enough.

I think he has two career paths he can take.

The first is as that guy who signs with a new team every year to be the gap starter and/or backup depending on that team's situation.  Think guys like Jameis, Wilson, Brissett the last few years, as he'll be a game manager for them while they try to re-build the roster.

The other is as a really good long term backup QB for one team.  He's smart and will make for a great addition to the QB room in film study and game prep.  He won't be a stud replacement if the starter goes down, but he'd be better than most other backups and you know he'll be ready to play when called upon.

Before you all rip me an ass, let me voice my opinion. It is not sustainable winning with 103 yards passing, no touchdowns, and turnovers. If they didn't have Rico blowing sh%t up, they would be in deep trouble. I am thrilled that they are winning. I am not being negative, just realistic.

The season is almost half way over and they still have the problem of anemic QB production. Believe me, they know something has to give sooner or later. I like Bryce as a person and seems like a good dude. But being a good dude will not win games in the long run.

Sooner or later, they will have to make a change. Their is a certain level of production that you need from the QB position. This kind of production will not get them to the next level.

We're about 15th/16th overall in terms of player age and only have 11 players over the age of 29...Not too bad and I was more talking about this incarnation of the team is young. Canales is only 2 years in as a HC and we have young talent to build around. Regardless of what happens with Bryce you can't tell me a team learns how to win by losing a poo ton of games every year. Need to be happy we are currently not a basement dweller at this point in the season like we have been for the last 7 seasons. Even the year we went 7-10 we were 2-7 at this point.

We just knocked off the #1 team in the NFC and have a winning record after the first 8 weeks for the first time in over 7 NFL seasons. The team deserves at least a little bit of fan support after having turned a very small corner.

Well, Andy Dalton, or haters, or you know… related. But touché.

When you go into this area you are complaining about complainers. Making you a complainer too. So….
