He's just not good enough. We need everything else to go perfect to win with Bryce. He got outplayed today by a 2nd round rookie. That was the biggest difference in the game today. Their QB was better than ours. Throwing at a 63% clip with a 6.8ypa average just isn't getting it done. Especially when the opponent throws at a 75% clip with an 8.5ypa average.

Shough didn’t outplay anyone. We had our DBs 10 yards deeper than every route. We certainly weren’t stopping TMac on 3rd and 5 when he ran one lard short. Their D was right there keeping him to 4 yards. I honestly thought our D play calling made Shough and his no namers to look like Joe to Jerry. Bryce wasn’t a HOFer today but his supporting cast and coaches were awful today.

defense had given up 10 points going into the 4th.

laggette bailed out a Bryce blimp.

Coker continues to ball out.

if Bryce is as clutch as defenders want to pretend he is (he’s not) he can get a first down in the fourth.

Let's be honest. He made 3-4 throws today that would've been in Bryce's top 10 for the season. And he's a 2nd round rookie.

So if the Panthers win, Bryce is the star and when Panthers lose Bryce can't overcome the refs, and inept staff/teammates?  Got it.

That's the "Bryce curve" grading scale. LOL

Any other QB that throws for under 200 yards, barely over 60% completion rate, and under 7ypa gets blamed immediately for the loss. Especially when the other QB throws for over 250 yards, 75% completion percentage, and almost 8ypa.

The difference today was that their QB moved the ball through the air with ease and ours struggled to do so. It's just that since ours has struggled so much worse than this in the past it's seen as a "good game". Again, the "Bryce curve".

He threw 8 more passes and Bryce had at least the one Coker throw. If Bryce had WRs uncovered like Shough did, he has a nice game too. Not trying to act like Bryce was a stud but Bryce wins easily if the coaches and other players don’t play like poo.

Absolute bullshit. Shough made multiple throws today in man coverage with defenders draped on receivers. And his ball placement was incredible as well.

Are you serious? Most of Bryce's completions were to guys that were wide ass open. Not sure if we were scheming it up or the Saints' coverage was just ass, but there was no one near our receivers on most of the completions. Shough hit multiple guys in stride 10+ yards down the field who weren't that open. Those are the throws Bryce really struggles to make and that's what handcuffs our offense.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
