3. LT Ikem Ekwonu: 66.4

4. RG Austin Corbett: 63.1

5. WR Jalen Coker: 60.6

Best of the defense

3. OLB Nic Scourton: 72.9

4. S Nick Scott: 71.3

"After watching their offense sputter most of the afternoon in a loss to the hapless Saints, something has become evident: The Panthers were winning in spite of Bryce Young, not because of him. He isn't the long-term answer under center in Carolina. The 2023 first overall pick completed 68 percent of his passes Sunday, but for a paltry 125 yards with an interception. It was the fifth time in 10 games that he has failed to eclipse 150 passing yards."

Even PFF has taken the gloves off with Bryce Young.

Good to see TMac Icky Coker and Scourton doing their part.

I did not expect Jaycee Horn to get lit up so badly by the lowly Saints. Sobering.

yeah i was somehow expecting his pff score to be decent figured they would never give him a true ratin

Horn has been on the worst list too many times this year. Olave absolutely cooked him.

Hasn't been a ton but it was in back to back games. I hope he isn't one of the guys Ikey and Scourton have been talking about as far as resting on their laurels.

Hopefully just a bad couple of games.

To be fair, the vast majority of that came on him following over twice. Hopefully that doesn't happen again

But when even advanced stats can't save Bryce... Well ...

Worst of the defense

14. OLB Princely Umanmielen: 59.7

15. OLB Trevis Gipson: 59.1

16. S Lathan Ransom: 54.3

17. ILB Trevin Wallace: 51.3

18. CB Jaycee Horn: 28.1

Horn's 28.1 overall grade is the lowest of his five-year career. The 2024 Pro Bowler allowed four receptions for 150 yards and two touchdowns on four targets.

If Horn has checked out, Canales has lost the locker room…

    • Should've been: Duren and Moose: 2 each (Duren for starting it, Moose for going crazy after lol) Bridges: 3 (1 for defending Moose, 2 for escalating further with Stew) Stewart: 10 (fug that dude, came off the bench, long history already, NBA should've sent a message with double digit games)   Oh well, I think we can weather the storm for 4 games. A win tonight would be huge as the next couple after are tough, vs Houston and Cleveland. Last game against the Wizards should be a win even short handed. Then back to full strength and keep the train rolling. Still thinking we get a 7 or 8 seed and win 1 of a potential 2 in the play-ins to make the real playoffs. 6 seed and skipping the play-in entirely is a tough ask. But I do think we are better than Magic, Heat, Hawks and can pass 2 of them before the end of the regular season.
    • Hmmm... Well, one of them consistently got dumb penalties that you never see any other receiver commit like offensive offsides on 4th down. One of them consistently would just run routes out of bounds for no reason. XL's only saving grace is that he has been a solid blocker at WR for us There is a reason XL often didn't get the ball thrown to him - he made some of the dumbest mistakes I have ever seen from a receiver... Even receivers that have zilcho talent (Mingo, Terrace Marshall, and all of our other WR draft busts) didn't make mistakes this dumb. It is bad enough when you aren't helping your team because you can't get open; it is much worse when you are so bad and dumb that you are actively hurting your team. I honestly don't think there is any fixing XL. The dude is just an idiot and lacks any kind of awareness and common sense on and off the football field
    • Game planning and being the eyes from the box during the game. 🤷‍♂️ it's all I got.
