206 yards passing gets nominated for this now?  What are we even doing here?!?!

15 completions. Less than 4 passes per quarter. 2 of his passes were on 4th down with the defense pressing. That was half of his offensive production. TMac and XL only had 1 reception each. Coker & Evans were his main targets. Couldn't even get Tremble and Sanders effectively involved.

It was the Rico & Chuba show splitting 39 plays. The dowfield pass was used sparingly with good playcalling on 4th and short.

There was no air game. Just 2 4th down highlights as his pass to Chuba was a swing pass behind the LoS. Playcalling, OL and RBs carried the offense.

It is interesting how the games changed over the past 10-15 years. I mainly started watching football in like 2010 or so. I feel like every week there were QBs throwing for 400+, 300 yards was a pedestrian day it felt like. Now even the best qbs dont throw for 300 super often it feels.

Defenses adapted again got smaller/faster its why power running is so much more effective and explosive than it was back then. The pendulum swings hard one way and back.

3 touchdowns, 2 DOTS and yes I said DOTS on crucial 4th downs for touchdowns to beat the #1 team. Context matters big dawg.

national media sees it but a panther fan doesn’t lol

"Panther fan" is doing a lot of heavy lifting here.

I never base "great performance" choices on stats.

There's soooo much more to football than stats.

LOL, tell that to the Bryce haters who quote his stats every game. How many yards he throws for, completion percentages, etc. Stats are only a part of the story, there is much more to it.

What?? But he only had 18 completions and it took him 30 attempts to get those?? Plus if you take away his 2 longest passes who know how low his numbers really are??

Am I doing it right?

if you take away his deep throws, he never once threw a deep pass. And that's who they picked??

    • After watching Dan for 3 yrs now, I think I understand his plan. It’s a simple plan that should work for the long run.     I saw some of this last yr. Dan wants a vet and a young player at each position. I really think we go OT if one they like there. Moton is aging, Icky will not be back until 27, if ever. We need to get ahead of the tackle problem
    • You are just stressing too much about these particular positions. You want to upgrade from Bryce and I understand that but you aren’t going to really get that without getting into a bidding war for a QB2 potential QB1 like Willis. You could possibly trade for Mills or the backup for Chicago but they are still gambles and their teams will won’t decent picks.  Again the Eagles thought KP was a capable enough backup to trade for him once their backup was hurt and won a Super Bowl with him as QB2. The point is most teams aren’t rolling with some stud QB2/3 that is going to push even a bottom tier starter. They are better off the building their roster in other areas. The Rams are rolling with Bennett right now as QB2 for example.  The goal is winning absolutely. We overachieved last year even with stumbling into the playoffs. Another year and this staff needs to take the next step in building a team. Will Grier has little to no impact on that….
    • Three straight first round WRs is straight up Matt Millen poo. Considering the draft capital we have tied up on Bryce after that trade we would basically have spent damn near all of our draft capital in recent years on QB and WR just to put one of the most anemic passing offenses in the league on the field. Clown show poo.
