Tampa's remaining schedule

Recommended Posts

It doesn't really matter what the Bucs do anyway. There'd be only fleeting satisfaction if we stumble into a playoff spot from a terrible division only to get blown out by the 5 seed. If we can't handle the Saints and sweep the Bucs to stake our claim to the division title and prove we've officially arrived, we might as well roll out the red carpet for the Bucs and look ahead to 2026.

Divisional games are always a toss up especially with this division the way it it.....

Fact is this should be a playoff team. Now if we make it in is anyone's guess at this point. I wanted to see progression out of DC in yr2 and I believe he has even if some are calling for his head.

Get DC a legit QB n let him cook please DM!

No way that's some loser mentality that has continued in this house for too long! "Fleeting satisfaction"

Win every game you can. Even if we get blown out in playoffs get our young guys even hungrier then. Fug draft positioning when you want to develop a winning culture.

I'll take a playoff berth than getting our ass handed to us from divisional opponents going into 2026

Tampa has a pretty easy schedule.

They have both Atl and N.O. at home so an upset by either of these two teams is pretty slim.

There only other game is Miami, who has been playing better lately but it's going to be tough.

We are going to have to win against TB twice and New Orleans.

We'd both end up 10-7 if we beat them both games.  We'd have the tie breaker from head to head.

It's a huge task but if we can beat them in Carolina in week 15 we have a chance in the final game.

If we beat Seattle it going to be quite interesting.

Obviously I pointed this out in several other threads....

Here are the facts since you didn't state them, Tampa must lose to Atl or NO for a split to affect us as all, if they lose to Miami it means littlerally nothing.

Don't look now but we actually just beat the current 5 seed on sunday

Tampa is going to poo the bed against NO or ATL- one not both. My guess is ATL on Thursday night football because those games are weird.

I think they lose to Miami. Not big deal if we lose to Seattle, more of a bonus if we win or a make up if we lose to NO again. But Miami is kinda a rival for Tampa and I could see them overlooking it.

The rest will be what happens between us and them. Not saying this because I want it to happen, but a lot of their guys are barely holding on. Baker is a rough sack away from falling entirely apart.

The bucs schedule is irrelevant. We have to beat the saints and beat them twice. If we split with them they are getting in and we're going home. The only way we get in with a split is is going 3-1 and them losing 3 games which means we beat them once and they lose to 2 of the saints, falcons and dolphins. Losing a game to them is not an option. We better bottle up whatever we had against the rams. Going forward that has to be the way we play. 35 runs to 20 passes. The run game has to be effective and when called upon Bryce has to float that ball into a perfect spot and beat the one on one coverage

Even if the Bucs lose to NO or ATL, they will still have the tiebreaker over us due to a better record in common games. Only way we could realistically make the playoffs over them if we split with them is if they lose to both NO and ATL, which isn't going to happen. If Tampa somehow lost NO (or ATL) and at Miami while we win all but 1 Tampa game, we could end up winning the division off having a better record (also unlikely to happen).

Pretty much, it's sweep the Bucs to make the playoffs. If we don't, we have a very small chance to make the playoffs
