That fact that he had a bad game wasn't the issue. Coming off Tommy John and imploding is why he shouldn't have been extended.

True.  That season, you could tell Tommy Jone got him.  And Lady Luck sort interfered earlier in that season because the AZ game could have happened before it did and people excused it because the big turnover game didn’t actually happen even though it could have.  

AZ was Tommy Jone grabbing and shaking us so that no one could explain it away and we still didn’t listen.

So similar to Cam, where he just couldn't make throws that came with ease in the past. Body gave out on him. Mind was willing, but...
