Joe Person: Ickey is expected to be extended, Mays is someone we want to keep long term, TE, LB and OLB are our biggest needs heading into the offseason

holy fug that would be 5 guys on the line with deals.  Not one on a rookie wage.  Is that sustainable, I guess we shall see.

No its not sustainable. Without investing draft picks in this oline they are asking for cap trouble down the road. But its not my money so IDGAF.

TE? They have 3 already so maybe someone is getting replaced.

I wonder how long the JT Sanders experiment will go. I know he went in the 4th for a reason, but at the time, I thought he was one of those classic prospects that fell and was a steal on day 3.

I’m not out on him, but he has flashed less this year than last and there are games where he seems non-existent.

Evans looks like the most promising long-term answer. Tremble will be here until his contract runs out. Sanders could be the new Ian Thomas, though the former has shown more flashes/promise than the latter.

Maybe Canales enjoys TE by committee though….i feel like that was the deal in TB and SEA.

What he say about Rico?

The Panthers haven’t given up on Brooks, but they understand the risk of reinjury following two ACL surgeries. I can’t see them going into next season with Brooks and Etienne as Hubbard’s primary backups. The Panthers don’t want to be in the business of letting good players leave. Whether they’re able to re-sign Dowdle will depend on his market and how much they want to invest in the position.

It would be pretty stupid to give him a multi year deal IMO

TJ hasn't been the same since he got the stinger. Hrs playing timid.

I guess neither Sanders or Evans hits the spot. Tremble only once in awhile.

New Huddle thing: "Can he play TE?"
