Bryce scored 5 TDs that game, not 3

if we counting rushinf also sanders also scored 1 rushing td.  so byoung had one more rushing td same passing tds sanders had the int and around 120 more total yards than young in his 3rd ever game.  young year 2 end of the year at that time but in 3 years he has arguably had only 1 better game than sanders had in his 3rd ever game even having this convo shows how bad most of youngs 3 years in the league have been.  no way browns trade sanders and he may still suck just crazy to think how littlr production panthers have had from young and everyone craps on sanders when he did this his 3rd ever game on a total crap team

Did Bryce Young have a list of teams he wouldn’t play for? You are mad because he earned being a top college recruit and the top pick in the draft. So weird. Any “competitive hurdle” placed between a #1 overall pick and the starting job is a farce and everybody knows it. What you are talking about is the coach and team playing make believe just for appearances sake. The competitive hurdle already happened in putting out the college tape to be the #1 pick.

What is the point in comparing these 2 completely different QBs and situations? Oh yeah, just another opportunity to whine about Bryce Young.

Let's also not forget how bad of a situation his rookie year was.  Some of the worst interior OL play with no weapons while being tugged in different directions by a staff that had no clue what they were doing.  Reich and Brown back and forth on play calling followed by Reich getting fired.  Throw in the following year struggles and the benching for a reset.  IF and it's still a pretty big "if" Bryce can turn into a franchise QB after this start it will be pretty impressive.

It's tough when these badly managed franchises just toss a rookie QB out there to save them.  Titans are doing the same thing to Cam Ward...

I don't know maybe his dad being his only coach and giving him scholarships to wherever he coached.  That way he could guarantee he started might have something to do with it. He never earned a thing in his life. Stop it.

And despite that, he has been given nothing by the NFL and Stefanski.  His own HC has tried to sabotage him and Shedeur still worked and just put up a performance no rookie QB has within such a short time frame since the merger.  It wasn’t handed to him.  He earned it.

Why would he do that when he’s a panthers fan, and has only mentioned Shedeur in this thread (a thread about Shedeur)?

Some of yall just can’t handle when a player you don’t like gets just a tiny bit of praise lol

Also.. Let’s not mention the obvious double standard applied here. Look at our QB’s history of entitlement. His parents are well off and catered to him big time. Best schools, coaching, rosters, totally elite poo. His path was basically paved with gold.
It continued in college and it continues here. He did not have a single competitive hurdle placed in between him and the starting job here. Just handed to him.
The Sanders kid had to earn it for sure.
Double standard. One for Bryce, one for Deion’s kid.

Do I want him? Not really. A little gun shy of his dad’s meddling. Would prefer not to be opened up to that can of worms. But he is having to earn his place more than our guy has.

As I’ve said in other threads, the amount of chances Bryce has been given is the definition of entitlement.  I’ve never before seen a guy be handed something he’s done everything in his power to piss away and show he wasn’t deserving of it.  He has been given chance after chance after chance and at every turn, he showed he wasn’t deserving.  And not only was he still given the job, but this organization went out of their way to coddle him and ensure nothing threatened his ego or confidence - measures usually reserved for proven franchise QBs.

Deion may have put Shedeur in advantageous positions, but Shedeur is overcoming adversity on his own and he is showing out.

Sanders threw for some yards in a loss. Big deal. That's doesn't mean much of anything.

If he's good they aren't trading him!

I mean, there's a reason some of us were clamoring for Shedeur when he kept falling in the draft. There was zero reason not to draft him, rather for potential competition or as a quality backup, instead we drafted some dude named Cam Jackson who doesn't even get activated. I don't get the hate for the kid.

His performance isn't a surprise to me in the slightest. I watched many Colorado games, and everytime I turned the tv on Shedeur was slicing up a defense with precision and ease. It is what is at this point, we're stuck with Bryce for the foreseeable future. Browns aren't trading Shedeur anyway, unless Stefanski really does hate Shedeur like their fans and the media says, and going by the fact that he took him out with the game on the line, it is very possible. That would then involve Tepper giving the ok to trade for him in the first place which ain't happening lol
