Say what you want, those turnovers weren't flukes though. Great read by Jackson on the pick 6 and great individual plays by DB on the batted ball INT and strip sack. The Rams are good enough to consistently move that ball against the very best defenses, so of course they are going to be able to move the ball at will with over half of our defense being backups to the backups...

And our offense played a great game. The Packers game was definitely a GB shooting themselves in the foot type of loss for them. I don't think the Rams game was the same - we executed well on offense and came up with the timely turnovers we needed on defense.

Rams only punted once. Without those turnovers they would have scored on every drive. Our defense couldn’t stop anything and was getting sliced up.

Heres a key stat- Rams averaged 7.4 yards each play..... I REPEAT 7.4 YARDS EACH SNAP.

I forgot the posters name, but I said a long the lines defense didn't do much outside the TOs...Like watching the game- Rams run play 12 yards. Next play Rams pass for 29. Next play TE screen 7 yards. Just like watching a big college team vs DII team. Panthers on one TO was in the end zone and the fumble was in the red zone too. Rams did it to the cards too, I think the best job in the NFL is being the current rams punter.

Rams were theoretically licking their chops at our depleted defense last week.....and turned the ball over 3 times.

I mean, it still a good thing.  Sometimes it takes a week or so for the weak links to really show what makes them so weak.  And sometimes, Derrick Brown is just there and any downgrade is hopefully a problem

I mean, I certainly hope we can exploit it and it plays to our advantage, but this is the NFL, and a division rival.  I still remember a few years back where the Saints lost all their active receivers going into our game.  They elevated two or three guys to start from the practice squad and proceeded to whoop our ass with ease and those PS guys out up numbers.  So, I like to see them banged up, but we definitely can’t mail it in.

newness of some of weaker players sometimes can work to your advantage for game.  Film and knowing what makes people what matters.

We didn't pay the price some thought last week vs the Rams w/ an injured defense.  We often see QBs take advantage of being new.  Heck, even someone like Jimmy Horn, saw his best play his first 2 active games on the roster.  I do think film and time is what lets team feasts the most on backups.

but Derrick Brown is Derrick Brown.  So, you got to think, film and knowing why someone is on the bench might not matter when you can get that ideal matchup.
