Thats why we wont bring him (or any worthwhile QB) in to "compete". Its not about winning for this franchise, its about Morgan/Tepper justifying their terrible trade. Egos over winning.

Not like we'd be looking at giving him big money anyway. I just want someone who can come in and give us options if (when) Bryce starts looking like typical Bryce again next year. Malik Willis, Sam Howell, Marcus Mariota. Gimme somebody along those lines. Not washed up Dalton. If we have one of those other three guys I think we have probably already washed our hands of Bryce because I doubt he gets back on the field after he missed a game earlier this year. He wasn't playing well and Canales had already benched him last year. If we had a capable #2 I think that would've been curtains.

Wasn’t it rotator cuff on his throwing side? I didn’t see the answer but an article said Dr James Andrews put 12 anchors in Brees’ shoulder when he rebuilt it, the most ever. At least at the time. 
It was a pretty major thing. He was just really lucky and so were the Saints. More so than Miami being dumb, IMO. He just beat the odds. To death. 
They say his shoulder is so bad he can’t even throw a ball in the backyard.

      Not sure how much he was a long term piece of this team.   Sucks to not have him as part of the rotation.   Looks like it's Lee Hunter time.

      I am not sure he will put the over the games but we’ll probably have them.   Two things I am thinking.  We have 4 preseason games.  All the coaches have enough service time to know the standards that are in place for decades. If I recall it was play your starters just a series to start woth and build it up until week theee where play a lot and you have week four to set hour roster. Evaluate before cuts.   Bevell will certainly have the whole thing down pat.   I’d they don’t do the fries and frie air will worry too. Because it is set up to do that.     I have said since they went t three preseason people have to figure a new way are still feeling it out and trying things.  We don’t have to this year.
