I’m starting to believe Nijman….

Is the our future LT we can’t afford to always pay talent we’ve developed. What he’s going to want may exceed our cap structure if Nijman can do what he’s done in his last few starts we need to see if we can coach him up to be as serviceable as Icky. 
Does anyone else think he can easily replace Icky after next season?

He looks good. I do wonder about their differences in the run game. It would be nice to be able to move Icky to guard if he could step in at LT, but we already spent a fortune at guard

Saw this was our 11th combination on the OL this season.  The fact we’ve won 8 games like that is wild.  Credit to the OL coach.  
 

Idk how I feel about Ickey vs Yosh, bc I agree, it doesn’t seem like a drop off between them right now.

Backups that exceed expectations typically play behind someone who is really good. Get rid of that ‘player coach’, and production will fall off.

Very true because in the past when a oline starter went down we could attribute all pressures to whoever replaces a starter, those days are long gone.

He's going to be offered top 5 starting LT money, and am sure he'll take it. Panthers would ve fools to not to.

Yosh has silently  been one of our best offensive  linemen. I'd like to see him get a couple more games at lt. If he does well... save that money that icky could fetch
