Maxx Crosby is not happy

Apparently the Raiders are in tank mode and have informed Crosby he will not be playing for the remainder of the season and he is NOT happy.

"Via Jay Glazer of Fox Sports, the Raiders told Crosby they plan to shut him down for the final two games of a lost season that is creeping toward enough losses to secure the top spot in every round of the 2026 draft. Per Glazer, Crosby “vehemently disagreed” with the proposal — and has “left the building.”

And apparently his contract is set up to easily be traded.

"Maxx Crosby contract is extremely tradable. Only $5M dead on the Raiders side. Inheriting team has $30M guaranteed in 2026, which is no problem. The rest of the contract is just $28M team options."

Now I know it is a long shot BUT, if he were to request a trade, would he be worth pursuing?

we had a qb that dressed like willy wonka and he gave us our best seasons. who cares about that poo

(maxx would never come here though, you are right about that)

But cam was like a whimsical guy and fun. Crosby is not that at all. He’s talented but hard to root for in my opinion 🤷‍♂️

No thanks. He's a fuging cornball and would never come here anyway

What makes him a cornball and why do you care about someone’s personal life this is about players football performances. What corny or cool things he does in his free time is all on him idgaf what any player does in his free time let’s stay focused on his football playing more then personal life bc worrying about what a player does in personal time is CORNY as hell!!!

i think the raiders could use a country boy WR that likes eating steamed raccoon testicles

That’d be a crazy good trade for us and they need a young WR to groom after testing JM to Jax. But we’d have to include more like a second round pick as well would anybody be ok with that kind of trade?

I would be. As long as we don't touch our 1st this year you can seriously upgrade of defense with a first round rookie ILB and Maxx Crosby

Crosby will garner a haul in a trade. I would be reluctant to make that trade because of the following:

1. Our overall roster is awful. We cannot afford to be trading away valuable draft capital.

2. He isn't the best fit(IMO) for the scheme that Evero runs.

I love the player but it would really need to be at a reasonable deal and I think he is likely to garner an unreasonable price if he gets traded.

Bingo. The dude is a baller no doubt and I'd love to have him in a vacuum but like you said he's gonna fetch a haul so the only teams it really makes sense for are teams with an overall good roster who they feel an edge rusher like Crosby would out them over the top in terms of competing for SBs.

I'd be looking st teams like the Pats, Bucs, Ravens, Seahawks, etc.

It wouldn't be shocking to see him moved. He may be more valuable to a rebuilding team in the form of the draft assets he'd fetch than he is on the field. He should still have several more good years in the tank at 28 but by the time the Raiders can reasonably expect to rebuild he's gonna be on the decline.
