Bryce Young is the worst QB in Panthers History

A third of Bryce’s yards came on a screen behind the LOS and a 4th down miracle blimp that would have been a TD with an nfl caliber qb. And that was against an exhausted 3rd string db in the 4th quarter.

the Bucs played 8 in the box all day. Don’t talk to me about the weather everyone does this to him.

Bryce threw one pathetic interception and made a business decision on a fumble.

TD pass was on a blown coverage

he’s fuging trash

Be nice and talk football poo not personal poo.

There is alot of football in that post. But I’ll do better.

saying I’m low IQ bc I wanna hold a qb long enough to replace him is equivalent to quitting your job before finding another and wondering why you default on your mortgage and go into foreclosure.

so in my defense, I’m retaliating with sense, against blind stupidity and hatred of a guy who doesn’t warrant that right now.

Bryce didn’t call a flee flicker on the drive to go ahead and win the division

Bryce has played some ridiculously shitty games. No argument. But this one I can't look at and say he played poorly.

I wouldn’t say he played poorly either.  I would say, like most games, he was largely irrelevant for the majority of it.   Thats Bryce.

You are low IQ. You and all other Bryce Truthers. Just come to terms with it. Embrace your need to continue to support shitty QB play.

Bryce got to 3k yards passing on a meaningless hook and ladder I guarantee poo head beat writers are going to bring that up without context.

3k yards is hardly a milestone to be proud of, lol

I get that. But let’s not conflate the two. I can say Bryce Young is a garbage ass quarterback while simultaneously acknowledging he is also hampered by a garbage ass head coach. If I go into a cage fight right now with you as my trainer, people can say man I never stood a chance I am garbage while also acknowledging my shitty trainer DHP02 didn’t do me any favors. I don’t know if I’m articulating that properly but I hope you get what I’m saying.

Posted (edited)

Bryce Young has the lowest yards per attempt besides Kerry Collins, the lowest adjusted net yards per attempt, the lowest touchdown rate, the highest sack rate, the fewest passing touchdowns per game, the lowest offensive points per game while starting, and the second-worst career passer rating among all Panthers quarterbacks who started at least two seasons

It's not even a debate unless you point to Collins who would take shots on the bench

It was the case even at Bama. He stalled out way more than you would expect in college.  Insane stats, but drive-to-drive was a rollercoaster.

He had a lot of just dead drives, but because he didn't take sacks and didn't make crazy INTs, it never set them back.  The D was good enough to bide time until the big plays came through.

It's really time to end this.  We won't, so I don't really know how to feel about 2026.  It's getting messy yet again bc Canales is absolutely not the guy.

You need to learn reading comprehension.

never once have I said Bryce is the guy.

only that we need to find a guy to take his spot before we just cut him.

but sure say what you want. I honestly have no idea why I even respond to folks like you who can’t use critical thinking skills and allow the hate of one individual to override simple football talk

He was our entire offense - we averaged 1.4 yards per carry with a long run of 5 yards. He threw for more yards and touchdowns than Baker. How was he "irrelevant" for the majority of it?

Not the worse but clearly just a mid level nfl qb

Let’s try to be accurate and honest here…

He is bottom 3rd.  Which is where every single offense and pass game has been since he arrived.  No different this year.

we are still searching to get to middle of the road offense

    • Not exactly sure that is an honest assesment of the talent he had to work with that year. Olsen had over 1100 yards that season making the PB, Stewart had close to 1100 total yards also going to the PB. He had Kalil at C who went to the PB, Trai Turner at RG who also went to the PB, and Michael Oher at LT who played well enough that the Panthers offered him a new contract the following year. I wouldn't call that a trash OL. He also played with a defense that was stacked with talent as well.   "The thing we are doing better this time around is actually surrounding our #1 overall draft pick QB with talent vs. asking him to completely carry the offense. I just hope that effort is leading us to realize that the guy isn't even good enough to get carried." Please.... Did you not read the list of names Newton had to work with his rookie season. I guess you missed it so I will post it again for you... Steve Smith (PB), Greg Olsen (PB), Brandon LaFell, Ted Ginn JR, Deangelo Williams (PB), Jonathan Stewart (PB), Jordan Grossn (PB), Ryan Kalil (PB) on the offensive side and then he had Luke Kuechly (PB), Jon Beason (PB), Thomas Davis (PB), Star Lotulelei, Kawann Short ( PB ),Charles Johnson, Greg Hardy (PB ), Mike Mitchell, Josh Norman (PB)  For comparison, here is who Young had his first year.  Chuba Hubbard, DJ Chark, Jonathan Mingo, Adam Thielen, Hayden Hurst, Ikem Ekwonu, Chandler Zavala, Bradley Bozeman, Nash Jensen and Taylor Morton. Not a single PB player on the list and most of them aren't even playing any longer. Additionally, his HC was fired during the season and the defense was as bad as the offense.  You might not like the comparison but saying Newton had to completely carry the offense isn't exactly fair to the 4 pro bowlers on offense who played with him that year.
    • That's why I say we have to keep looking. Even if you believe Bryce is the guy, KP and Grier are not and who knows if King is anything more than a gimmick player, we should be active in improving our 2nd QB spot. Season ending injuries happen, and you don't just want to roll over and give it up. How many starters have we seen come from the ranks of backup? Having 2 potential starting QBs is one of the best problems we could have.
    • Eh, it’s more on how bad the refs are. Some of these calls against the canes are no calls
