I don't think he probably has any desire to go to another losing team. I know he does have roots in this area but he has also spent most of the last 15 years in California.

Also, how would he be drastically different than Coker?

KA plays mostly in the slot and the 3rd down option and receives most of the short yardage work whereas Coker and TMac stretches the field. Having Keenan Allen is like having a more versatile tight end

He also seemed much happier on the field this year than last. I think all in all, he just likes the Chargers organization and being on the west coast.

At this stage, I would bring in Mr. First down, Keenan Allen. He has a market value of 6 Million which is dirt cheap and would be a great veteran presence for the young receivers.

There has been a fair amount of talk about him retiring. This was his 14th season I think. Might want to look elsewhere at other options.

Yeah, I think he stays with Seattle. You don't trade for a guy midseason and then let him walk in the offseason unless he was a disaster.

iirc they sent 2 picks to the the Saints for this guy, indicating to me they will give him a longer deal.

However, it would be fun to watch the Saints fans when they hear we got him.

We should entice him by offering quite a bit more than whatever Seahawks will propose. He’s a WR3 with WR2 potential. We need him here.

One thing we’re overlooking is that he didn’t do much at WR in Seattle. Re-signing with them isn’t a given. He could have a bigger role elsewhere.

Everyone sort of faltered in that passing offense after the trade deadline because Darnold went to poo from Week 11 onward.

I do think they intend to keep him.

Can we find a guy to return that doesn't let the ball smack him in the face.

I miss Mark Hampton (iirc) Dude just caught the ball and got 10 damn near every time.

Mark Jones; talk about a blast from the past. That dude got us yards every time. He also didn’t drop the ball. Been awhile since we had someone dependable back there like that

Or how about Michael Bates? Man, I miss that MFer. 5x Pro Bowler and 2x AP with us as KR.

Or even prime Steve Smith at PR. People forget he was a Pro Bowler and first team AP as a rookie at PR.

Honestly even though Bryce impressed me in wc weekend, not a chance he can consistently get the ball deep enough to make use of Shaheed, if Tet has to slow down half the time Shaheed would be useless.

It’s in his arsenal.
