Ran across this bit of fun.

As seen on https://www.thesportinggent.com/blogs/dispatches/front-porch-musings-field-ethos-journal (a blog for outdoors gear and clothing)

Why would you associate yourself with people like Luke Kuechly and Colin Jones? You're obviously not concerned about your reputation.

I actually know less than nothing about football. I met Colin through a friend. We became buddies because we both like hunting and fishing and Luke has been tagging along ever since. They’re both outdoorsmen and they’re not assholes. These are my only requirements for friendship. Colin and Luke are the type of friends that can go on a trip, not catch or kill anything, and we still end up having an awesome time. They’re in it for the overall outdoor adventure, so they’re always on a short list of people I call when I plan a trip.

Best I'm a Little Teapot impression: Colin or Luke?
That’s the toughest question so far because their standing styles are both so graceful and delicate, but somehow different...which is why I take pictures of them standing when they’re not paying attention.

zero percent suprised Luke is a nice guy irl, have never heard anything differently from anyone that's met him.

I have heard mixed reports on Smitty

I know one guy on here got to know Deangelo Williams and J stew pretty well back in the day when they used to host events and he said they were nice iirc

I can't imagine Jordan gross is a bad hang, he's hilarious

Have met Luke and Jstew multiple times, both are gueninlely nice guys and down to earth as they come. Smitty I guess it really depends on what side of the bed he woke up on I've seen him were hes cool and other times hes a dick.  Williams was a always a dick.... just my 2C.

Steve smith is THE biggest asshole I’ve ever met. Also so my favorite player so take that for what it’s worth.

Luke came into my restaurant in Blowing Rock and asked if we would like a picture when we said hi we are big fans. Came back into the kitchen while we snapped it, thanked us for the pancakes. I love Cam but can you ever imagine Cam doing that lol

A friend of mine worked at Johnson & Whales. Cam contacted the school and wanted cooking lessons at his home. The staff that participated said he was as cool as one can be changing preconceived notions people had going in to it.

    • With the contract money an OT first rounder makes you can ALWAYS get a new girlfriend.  And probably an upgrade at that.  You only got 2 parents.
    • Brother. You are wholly confusing comparing situations and applying actual standards like most other franchises do like simply getting into a playoff series and winning at least 1 or 2 series games with praising. Nobody is praising the Hawks. Nobody is praising the Magic. Nobody here likes those teams. But reality is reality. The Hawks like other franchises have traded players fired coaches etc but they can still win a couple playoff games. How is that not the bare floor for you or anyone else? What are we doing here if it isn't? We've seen eye to eye on many things over the years. But you are in the camp on the Hornets where you are emotionally attached to LaMelo where you feel the need to carry his water like he's got that juice. That's cool that you feel that way. It's your prerogative. But I differ from that viewpoint entirely. If he had that juice we would not have gotten wiped off the court in 2 play in games with 2 different coaching staffs and rosters. if people don't like hearing that well I'm sorry but how the hell is this team ever going to get better and ultimately go anywhere in the postseason if we just blindly pat them on the back for getting their asses whooped before they actually even get into the real playoffs? There seem to be some Bryce Young level standards being applied here. That's wild to me. But to each his own.
    • Proctor/Freeling were always the belles of the ball where we were picking. What those two *could* become at OT was far greater than what others could be at their respective positions and I’m glad our FO could see that.
